"Nene I promise i'm gonna be good, i'll call you as soon as I land and I see Miah and her mom." Elisha told her grandmother at the airport.
She kissed her grandmother goodbye with a hug before she made her way deep into the airport.
After years of living with her grandmother in Miami, she was finally going back to her home state of New York.
She had first left when her father passed away, instead of staying with her mother's sister, she went to stay with her dad's mom. She felt like she needed an escape for New York.
But now at the age of sixteen soon to be seventeen she couldn't wait to return for the summer. After skipping a grade she would be starting college early.
It was the perfect time since she would be starting her fall semester in University of Albany this year.
After her mom passed away when she was two, her father and her moved to Brooklyn to get more help and support from her aunt.
She grew up with her favorite cousin Miah, who was only a year younger. The two used to get in trouble all the time together.
She couldn't wait to run it back once she touched BK.

Kyle, Tata, Jenn, Jay, Dee and Preme were all in the studio chilling, recording, smoking and on live. They had been there for an hour.
Tara had recorded his verse for his and Jenn new song but Kyle had yet to record for his new track.
Preme was on instagram live entertaining the comments.
"The people said they need a 41 Bop part 2." He read out loud.
Jenn replied saying "we got something for the people real soon."
Dee was rolling up his third blunt while Kyle continued to write on his phone. Even with all the noise around him, he was in his element and focused.
"Miah suck my dick." Tata said after reading her comment.
"Where she at anyway?" Jay asked as he smoked.
"She said something about picking her cousin Eli at JFK." Preme replied.
After a few minutes, Kyle was done writing his verses and hopped in the booth to record.
"My son KR really up next, niggas is not seeing him." Jenn said as she pointed Preme's phone towards Kyle in the booth.
"Kyle you ready?" The engineer asked. He nodded his head and fixed the headphones on his ears.
Once he was given the thumbs up, he began rapping.
"He try to diss, he got put in a wood".

"Eli bitch I missed you soooo much like word to everything bro." Miah said to her cousin as they hugged and got in her mom's car.
Her mom was talking to Elisha's grandma so she wasn't paying much attention to the girl's conversation.
"I dead missed you to sis, i'm glad to be back."
"I'm surprised you still got your accent after five years in the yams." Miah said as she typed away in her phone.
"How could I ever lose it, but put me on. What's been happening in BK?"
"Aight bet, so much shit like bitches are still mad weird and these niggas still pussy."
"And that's why we DTN for life."
"And DTB. But I really been chilling, rapping with my friends and you know being outside of course."
"Yeah I saw the rap shit, you been going up muddy. I'm soo proud of you."
"Thank you sissy but after we go home and you get settled in, we gonna link up with my friends."
"Miah bro too soon, i'm still jet lagged".
"I dead forgot you a homebody but you not getting out of this so i'll give an hour nap before we link them."
Eli rolled her eyes at her cousin's words before she nodded knowing there was no arguing with Miah once her mind was made up.
