y/n wakes up and it's 2am and she notices finn is gone

finn walks into the living room

finn: oh hey, i was on my guitar sorry, working out some new songs

y/n: oh no that's fine

finn: you okay? do you need anything?

y/n: i'm fine thank you finn, it's pretty late now, maybe i should get home

finn: you sure? you could stay in the guest room, besides, me and the rest of the gang are hanging out tomorrow, you could stay until then

y/n: thank you, but i don't think millie would want me there

finn: don't listen to her, everybody else wants you there

y/n: sure, but i think i better get home, my cats are waiting for me. i will meet you there

finn: okay that's fine, as long as i get to see you

y/n: you will, i promise

finn: okay, i will add you to the group chat and we can give you the time and place

y/n: okay, thank you, see you tomorrow

next day

y/n gets a message

"hey, it's noah schnapp, i got your number from the group chat, is this y/n?"

noah: okay cool, you're meeting up with us later right?

noah turns up at the house later on and knocks the door

y/n: hey noah, do you wanna come in? it's early

noah: yeah thanks

y/n: do you want a drink or anything?

noah: no thank you, i just wanted to talk to you about something

noah: when we hung out the other day, with the rest of the group, i thought we got along really well, don't you think?

noah: well in that case, do you have any plans friday?

y/n: i don't think so, i'll have to check

noah: i was gonna invite you to hang over my house

y/n: oh yeah, that would be nice, i will just have to check my calendar
