The tunnel was dark and smelled of earth. Torches were lined on either side but provided little light. I shivered in the cold and pulled my jacket closer around my body.

"Guys come on," Missy encouraged.

"It sure is dark in here," Guppy noted.

"Ojo can I borrow your flashlight for a minute?" Missy asked.

"We just have to stick together," Missy started walking, with the rest of us following her closely behind.

"Yeah, and find a way up to the mothership and defeat the aliens who defeated all the heroics," Wild Card brought down the morale.

"Dude! Stop being so pessimistic," I called.

They all turned to the sound of my voice again. I shrugged and we kept walking.

"What could we do differently from our parents?" Wheels wondered.

"Everything," Missy answered.

"Like we lure the aliens out of the cities so we don't destroy more buildings," Missy started to roast the Heroics.

"She's right, our parents are always having huge brawls in the middle of the most populated cities," Rewind added.

"Don't we need superhero costumes?" Guppy suggested. She was holding my hand as we walked through the tunnel.

"All superhero's have costumes. Pads, fake muscles, tons of useless buckles," Fast Forward commented.

"Underwear on the outside," Acapella named.

"Masks you can barely see out of (They have no idea!)" Rewind continued.

"That's why they were able to pick out our parents so easily," Fast Forward informed.

"Because they were easy to spot. We have to blend in," Missy finalized.

"Be... stealth," Missy sort of broke for a second.

"How?" Wild Card asked, generally curious.

"Just trust me, I have a plan" Missy promised, vaguely.

During their entire conversation I was looking into those files that I stole earlier, from Ojo's mind. The first file was the one that was the most useful. It was mini conversations pertaining to the fact that Ojo was an alien. I almost was frozen in shock. My mind didn't need to know more about this tiny piece of information, and discarded the other files. Only because what else could I find? And was I supposed to find it?

Soon we emerged from the tunnel past a bunch of hanging leaves.

"Where what plan?" Wild Card pressed.

"I'll show you," Missy showed him the tablet.

We all watched, bored, as Missy whispered in Wild Cards ear. Suddenly his eyes widened and he almost cussed. That, I had to find out about, I needed to access his mind later.

Wait! If I can read minds, shouldn't I be able to control them? What would happen if I did?

"Okay, everyone. Missy and I figured out a way for us to do this. Check it out! Ojo drew us a clue. A supply ship," Wild Card swiped on the tablet and I saw an alien ship.

"So, what does that mean?" Acapella asked, confused.

"It means there is probably one nearby, that we sneak on board, and pilot up to the mother ship," Wild Card explained.

"That's actually a good idea, no matter who thought of it," Wheels tried to mediate.

"Thank you," Wild Card was still ever so arrogant.

"Ugh," I rolled my eyes.

"Come on! It's time to show these aliens, what's what," Missy encouraged.

I made a floating platform with my mist and Slow Mo slowly got on it and I ran with him trailing behind me, following the others who were jogging towards the supply ship. We watched the alien dissapear into some brush and we now were full on running towards the alien vessel.

"Now lets get out of here," Missy ordered.

It was a little taxing running with my mist and I am a horrible runner. Yippee me! So everyone else was in the ship besides me and my passenger, Slow mo.

"Wait! We're not all here," Wheels noticed.

At that moment, I ran in.

"Thank you, Wheels!" I thanked, with sarcasm in my voice.

"Now how do we fly the ship?" Wheels asked.

"I thought you knew how!" Missy was shocked.

"I can do it," I say, as I slide into the ship and rest my hand on the buttons. I lift my fingers and push a little energy into the chair. I closed my eyes and opened the different files in the chair's database. (Basically she can look into computers too with the same analogy). I opened my eyes and selected the yellow button and we lifted off into the air. Not a second too soon, because the alien shot its tentacles, barely missing the ship. Soon we were headed towards the mothership, as the chair was now covered in violet mist.

"Well, now what?" Noodles spoke.

I kept my eyes closed, concentrating on steering the ship while Wheels told me which way to fly the ship.

"Don't worry, any minute now, Ojo is going to draw us a picture of us smiling and hugging our parents," Missy promised.

But Ojo shook her head, I handed the controls off to Wheels after explaining how it worked. I moved to a corner of the craft, crossed my arms, and glared at Ojo.

"Oh... that's just great!" Noodles was growing impatient.

Missy and Wild Card had a small conversation. Something else of great importance was happening, my necklace that shown green, signaling my brother was alive, had started to dim and crack. I didn't notice.

Before I knew it we were entering the huge mothership that held their parents and my brother, but also the aliens who had defeated those who had trained years before us. What happened in the next 2 hours would change my life, forever.
