Taehyung remained vigilant throughout the entire time he was in the car. He gazed ahead at the road while also discreetly checking on what his fellow passengers were doing. He breathed steadily, striving to ensure that those around him didn't notice his insecurity and apprehension. He wasn't particularly comfortable finding himself in the company of unfamiliar men, and the fact that he had no idea where they were headed didn't help at all. He clutched a bag containing all the necessary school study materials tightly in his hands, attempting to reassure himself by holding onto it.The car interior was designed in a coordinated dark black, combined with a grey color, creating an interesting impression. The seats were comfortable, and despite spending a considerable amount of time in the vehicle, he didn't experience any discomfort in his backside, back, or lower extremities. The car had the air conditioning on. The driver, who introduced himself as Hoseok, had turned on pleasant music a while ago, easing the tense atmosphere.
After observing him for a while, he had to admit that there was no hint of danger emanating from him. Perhaps it was just the effect created by his appearance, and in reality, he wasn't some terrifying mafia figure. The thought made him shudder and he nervously squirmed. Hoseok, the aforementioned person, noticed his reaction and couldn't help but smile.
In his mind, he was amused by Taehyung. He attempted to conceal his doubts by pretending as if he wasn't even there, although deep down, he knew well that there was no way out of this mess. If at all.
With Jungkook, they went through his entire past, everything associated with him. It took quite a lot of time. No wonder, as he was a very significant child who held immense power in his hands, and everyone had plans either to seize him or, in the best-case scenario, bring him to their side. If he fell into the wrong hands, he would cause more harm than benefit. However, nobody wanted to let that happen, hence Hoseok led him to their boss. He was sure that he would be safe with them. When it came to safety, he meant that he would still be alive and wouldn't die. But in reality, he didn't know the plans of his superior, who was both a good friend and his boss, and he was uncertain whether he even wanted to know.
It was clear as day. If Jungkook was interested in this child, there had to be more to it than just his safety. They had known each other for a long time, and Hoseok had already learned that the younger one didn't do anything purely selflessly. There was always more to it. The question remained of when he would inform them about it or whether he would go into it on his own. It's not that he didn't trust or underestimate him, he just didn't like it when someone from his close circle did work-related things on their own without any assistance. The risk multiplied then, and he didn't want to lose sight of it.
That's why this boy was a mystery to him. He intended to follow the orders given to him, but at the same time, he wanted to find out the reasons behind why he did it. It would be better if they gained the boy on their side to avoid unnecessary problems.
