Oh this is real

After closing the door. I stood in MY home in disbelief. Here I am 18, in my own home, on my own for the very first time. So many emotions went through me. I was excited of course. My house, my rules, but I was also nervous... Do I sleep with my door open or shut? What if someone watched me come in and out the house every night waiting on the right moment to come get me .. oh goodness. Let me stop that's what I have this big black glock and my Higher Power for.

I took a deep breath and went to pray over my new home. After, calming down I decided to shower and run warm water in the tub with epsom salt. If you don't shower before you get in the tub.. let me tell you something.. ya nasty !

I poked my big toe into the water checking the temperature before putting my entire body inside. After that struggle I finally got in all the way and relaxed.

I had to sit up and blink a couple of times. Did Nico .. hold on y'all don't know who Nico is. Let me explain. Nico's name was in every girl's mouth. This man was fine as ever. 6'3, dread head, brown skinned. I've never met him face to face, but I have seen him out in public. Every time he came stepping. Fresh hair and outfit every time.

I mean it's giving hoe vibes already, but this man fine. I can't help, but get excited. Ok what does the message say.

Lisa: Hey, wassup?

Please don't let me mess this up sounding like a dude. I can't help it. I'm a big tomboy and do not talk like these other girly females.

Nico: Nothing much, I just passed by one of your pictures and you're beautiful. Where you from?

Lisa: Thank you love, I'm from SC and you?

Nico: Me too, I guess you're not too close by though, cause I've never seen you.

Lisa: We probably were. I just didn't get out much besides work. I just moved to NC tho.

Nico: well shidd,, that's not far and how about we change that. Call me if you're not busy 864-9*7-56*4. I don't really like texting.

Lisa: Ok, can we talk tomorrow. I just moved today and have orientation for school in the am. I was just getting ready for bed.

Nico: That's fine ma, get some rest and have a good day at orientation tomorrow.

I looked up to my toes starting to wrinkle. I put my phone down after scrolling through my timeline and checking the rest of my social medias and got out the tub. After putting lotion on and wrapping my hair I laid down and turned my tv on. I was uneasy for a while before I said my prayers and falling asleep.

My alarm went off at 7:15am.

I had orientation today for college. I decided going to a technical college and just getting my own home would be cheaper and less stressful than going to a 4 year. I'm going for nursing. I took a lot of classes in high school, so my time should be kind of short here.

I went in the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash up. I put on high waisted shorts, and a nude color shirt with my anklet and shoes. I put my hair up in a messy curly bun and put my earrings in. I also brought my scrubs with me in a back pack. I'm also starting my new job today.
