It's early in the morning around 7 and I'm getting ready for school but I heard glass break I ran out side with my tooth brush in my mouth.

I saw in horror as my dad held a knife to my mother neck. "Dad what the hell?!" I shouted "go away y/n" he says slurring his words I could tell he was drunk but when he was drunk he's a complete dope.

Unless he's doing drugs. "It's okay dad you wanna take a nap" I say cautiously. My jeans buttons weren't even up and I had a tooth brush in my mouth.

He shook his head and slowly let go of moms neck I slowly took the knife out of his hand and put it on the table.

He laid there on the couch and was knock out in matters of seconds. I hugged mom "oh my god" we both say in complete and utter shock.

I finished and headed for school for the rest off the day I was really shook up about it I'd never seen my dad behave like that.

I got to my locker and closed it ready to go home. "So the Library?" Robin said "not today Robin" I say continuing to walk.

"Hey what's up you've been off today" he says catching up to me "not in the mood Robin" I say "come tell me" he says. My heads throbbing "ROBIN!" I shouted I looked at him.

Before calming down "sorry I just been you know upset or whatever" I say. "Oh it's good I have those day" he says "wanna talk about it".

I had the urge to tell him so I did "I think my dad off some sort of drug he tried to slit my mom's throat" I say. His eyes widened.

"You good?!" He says "yeah" I trialed before I could say anything he pulled me into a hug I softly cried into his shoulder. Not to the extent that I was sobbing. But just a few tears.

He held my chin and lifted it up. "If anything happens at home come over my mom wouldn't care she'd even be happy I have a girl over" he says. "Really?" I say softly.

"Yeah we can smoke and play cards or whatever" he says with a smile. "Thanks robin" I say hugging him. He hugged me back rocking back and forth.
