KARINA WAS currently studying for the upcoming test that week. The test made her panic. She's been so stressed to the point where she had been losing track of time. She didn't even notice that seven hours had went by. Karina went to the bathroom at five, came out at seven. She went to tend to her garden at eight, but came back in at twelve.
She had already been stressing and the constant prank calling didn't help at all. She just felt off. It felt like time was flying past her. She looks up at the clock and sees the time. Twelve o'clock on the dot. Still twelve. She chose to stare at the clock to see it move, which it did. She turned back around to continue her studying until she heard a click coming from the clock.
It went back to twelve. She was confused. Maybe the clock was broken. Maybe this is a dream. Maybe someone is playing a trick. She didn't know. The brown-eyed girl felt a chill run down her spine. Usually, she would shake the feeling due to knowing how paranoid she can get about nothing.
But this time she couldn't. Something wouldn't let her. She chose to get up and try to fix the clock. Before she could even touch it, a blue-ish spark zapped her hand. She jumps back and winces while shaking her hand. She went to go back to her bed when she saw herself standing up with her eyes white looking straight ahead.
She had blinked her eyes, even rubbed them a bit to make sure she wasn't imagining things. The last time she blinked something had appeared in front of her look-a-like. A veiny like creature was there, with an elongated hand in front of her chest. Along with the sound of a clock, her clone looking more terrified as they both turn to her and whisper,
"Run."
The creature shoves it's hand into her look-a-like's chest, Karina hearing her own scream ripping from its throat.
She runs towards her door but it wouldn't budge. The thing starts walking closer and closer to her. Just before it reached her, the door opened. Karina ran through while staring at the creature behind her. But, it wasn't her home it was some black room with water on the ground. She saw a girl watching other people in a trailer debating on what to do. She stalks closer to her but the girl didn't pay her any mind. Karina lifts her hand to tap her shoulder to get her attention. The girl looks straight at her hand but it seems like she couldn't see her. She retracts her hand and places it by her side once again.
She glances back up to the people before seeing Lucas and Erica along with them.
She furrows her eyebrows in confusion and curiosity. She stalks closer to them, eventually starting to call their name. They couldn't hear her. She notices a boy with a bowl cut who lifts his hand to the back of his neck. Karina heard footsteps behind her, making her quickly whip her head around only to be met with darkness. She turns back around to continue watching but was met with the same darkness. The brown-eyed girl walks to hopefully find something or someone. After walking for what feels like forever, she finds a white door. Considering the fact that it could be dangerous, she felt like it would be better than staying in this darkness.
She walks through and saw those same people but they were at lovers lake. She saw a teenager panicking while swimming in the water. Then she heard a clock, the same clock she had just heard while in her freakish bedroom. The high-schooler had lifted up out of the water. His bones cracking in the air before stilling and falling in to the water, creating a splash that fell onto the two students.
Her eyes went to the other two kids in the water. She didn't know one kid but she knew the other one, Eddie. She only knows of him because of Lucas' ranting about the hellfire club. What was he doing there? She couldn't even finish thinking about reasons Lucas would be there before she felt herself falling. This felt like some weird acid dream.
"Was something in my water?" she thought. She held onto a branch to try and hold herself up. It didn't do her any justice. She was tired, this entire thing was making her exhausted. She wanted to give in. So, she did. She had woke up a while after blacking out, it was weird.
Karina was a in a white room with a straitjacket on. She was confused, she didn't remember how she ended up here. Before she got a chance to even panic, she started to throw up water. It was so so much, it felt like it was never ending. Trying to draw someone's attention, she sprinted for the door and narrowly missed the clock that read,
