As I walk away from a stunned Romano, I hed in the direction where Ricardo was standing, sipping on his drink. I was fuming with anger and disbelief, as I wanted to know why he lied to me about how Romano looked. What else could he possibly be lying about? Ricardo seems to be forgetting who I am. Maybe he need a slight reality check.I pause as I come face to face with him. I looked him dead in the eye and crossed my hands over my chest. He sent a smile my way but it dropped into a confused frown as he notices the serious expression on my face.
"I think we need to talk." I say to him, not waiting for his answer as I grab his wrist and drag him to a more secluded corner of the room.
I let go of his wrist before beginning. "Why'd you lie?" I tilted my head to the side, arms still crossed over my chest, which boosted my breasts up a little more, making them more visible.
I think I saw him take a quick glance towards them before he averted his eyes back to mine. He visibly gulped before replying to my question with another question.
"What are you talking about?" He sounds more confused than I am.
I rolled my eyes. "Stop the act. You lied to me about how Romano looked. Why?" I ask again, bouncing from one foot to the other, visibly getting more impatient and annoyed.
"Wait.." he paused, pinching the bridge of his nose. "What?" Ricardo seemed to be getting irritated too.
"You said Romano was an old man. The man looks like a fucking model." I sighed. My body heats up thinking about our little interaction a while ago and how good he looked towering over me.
Now's not the time.
"You're serious?" He asks and I sent him an unamused glare. He got the hint and averted his eyes from me to the floor. "Right."
"You didn't answer my question Ricardo."
"I didn't know." He stumbles over his words. "I swear. I asked one of the members if he knew what Mr. Novikov looked like and that's the description he gave me. That's it." He said, raising his hands in defense.
"Hm." I replied, eyeing him suspiciously, as his story seems quite unbelievable. I find it hard to trust it. I sighed running my hands through my hair.
I get an uneasy feeling that someone still has their eyes on me. To my surprise, I look to my right and its Mr. Novikov . I sent a playful wink his way and a smirk spreads across my face. I averted my gaze back to the man infront of me and proceed to tell him about a meeting I want to have with Romano.

As the beautiful woman walked away from me, I was surprised, since no woman has ever told me that before. The fact that she thought I was using a pick-up line on her was quite hilarious, but I admire how bold she is. All the other women I've ever talked to came off as shy, too cocky or too clingy. If only Valentina knew I meant what I said. One of my men came up to me and started talking about who knows what, but I kept my eyes on Valentina, admiring her figure as she walks away . Her body grew smaller in the distance as she continued to approach this man.
I didn't recognize him, but Valentina took him to an empty corner of the hall. They started having a conversation but I couldn't make out what the were saying. Who is he? Is he her boyfriend? Is he the reason she blew up at me?
My eyebrows scrunch together and I push the thoughts to the back of my head as she caught me staring. She winked at me and I quickly looked away, actually paying attention to the words of the man infront of me as he tried to gain my attention. Even though I have a strong attraction to beautiful women, I wouldn't love one that was already taken.
"Romano!" My brother's voice snaps me out of my thoughts and back to reality.
"What?" I said pinching the bridge of my nose before fixing my gaze back on Marcelo.
"Did you hear what I said?" I shook my head no. A sigh left his lips. "Of course you didn't." I gave him an unamused glare which he cleared his throat in response to.
"While you were day dreaming," he said, emphasizing the last two words before continuing, "I was telling you that Valentina Bianchi is here tonight. You know, the most powerful mafia boss."
"Hm." I hum in response. If only you knew.
"It would be good if we can convince her to form an alliance with us, good for the mafia." Marcelo was the second in command and he always gave his opinions, which are helpful.. most of the time.
Without putting much thought into it, I found myself telling him yes. If he says it will be good for business, then it will. And that's all that matters to me.
"Great." He flashed me a wide smile, showing off his straight, white teeth. "I'll go talk to h-"
Just then, the same man I saw Valentina talking to approached us, cutting Marcelo off. "Excuse me Mr. Novikov, I'm sorry to interrupt you but Miss. Bianchi would like to have a meeting with you, one that might spike your interest."
My brother turned to look at me, raising his eyebrow in question and motioning with his head towards the man.
"Sure." I said in confirmation and the man nods before leaving. I wonder what the beautiful woman wants with me now.
