"IT'S BEEN MONTHS, LORELEI," BILL SIGHED as lorelei and himself made their way through the streets, turning down a road with nothing but a few people and closed shops.
the two weren't looking for anything in particular, nor did they have any place to be for hours. the only time they would be split was when bill had to go home and stream and lorelei had to monitor his chat. the two were the bonnie and clyde in their friend group, which only consisted of bill, lorelei, and their mutual friend, ranboo.
admittedly, though, lorelei always seemed to feel more drawn to bill than ranboo. he was closer to her than ranboo in age by a few months, bonding over their star signs. they just clicked when they got into a discord voice channel when bill was just starting to stream. lorelei had never modded a chat before in her life, yet bill took a chance on her, and the two have become the most tight-knit a friendship could get.
ranboo was a comfort character to lorelei. ranboo was the only boy lorelei felt she could talk to when bill introduced her to his friend group. ranboo had this aura to him and the two gravitated toward one another, a pull effect. ranboo, despite living in america, had just as much significance in her life as bill did.
