Chapter 8

Beck's POV

I sort of like Tori. Tori is scared because Jade and Trina won't let her date their exes. Jade did that to tori so why can't Tori do the same? I'm currently at Karaoke Dokie with Tori. "Beck, do you believe in second chances?" Tori asked. "It depends on who it is with. If jade asked me for a second chance, I would say no." I said. "I just want someone to love me." Tori said. I grabbed her hand and smiled.

Tori's POV

I really like Beck. I don't care what Jade thinks. I want to be with him. My dad will approve of him. Beck took me back to my house and I went to my room. "Dad! Can you come here?" I yelled. "Coming, honey!" Dad yelled and ran upstairs. "I'm in love with beck." I said. "Movie star Beck? Sam's cousin?" Dad asked. I nodded. "I can't date him though." I said. "And why not?" My dad asked. "He's Jade's ex. I'm not allowed to date Jade's exes." I said. "Tori, she dated Charles, your first boyfriend. You shouldn't have to keep your distance from Beck just because he used to date Jade. Follow your heart." Dad said and hugged me. I am really happy that my dad is around to support me. I decided to go and play on the piano. "Wow, that was amazing." Beck said. "Thanks." I said. "Can I let you in on a little secret?" Beck asked. I nodded. Beck kissed me and I froze but kissed back. I am so happy. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Someone yelled. We pulled away and saw jade looking angry at us. "Nothing." I said quickly. "What did I tell you?!" Jade yelled angrily. "Jade, I love Tori. No matter what you think about it." Beck said. "What's going on in here?" Dad asked. "Yeah, why are you screaming at my best friend and cousin?" Sam yelled. "Jade's mad because she walked in on me and Tori." Beck said. Trina walked in. "It's not a big deal. It was just a kiss." I said. "Aw." Sam said. "Jade, you're overreacting. If beck and Tori want to kiss, that's what they'll do." Dad said. Jade looked angry. Beck showed his love for me and I think I love him back.
