The Namari Sisters [My hero Fan story]

Prologue Pt 1

The Reunion

"I'm home!" Phyki shouted as she walked into the apartment she shared with her little sisters. She set down her bag with her hero costume and the rest of the paperwork she had to finish on their kitchen counter and sighed.

The Namari household was a disorganized mess, but this is what the three girls called home. Phyki's parents had made it abundantly clear to Phyki that she had to join their family company instead of being a pro hero like she had dreamed. And when she refused, they resorted to more aggressive ways of forcing her to comply.

As soon as Phyki turned 18 she fought against her parents in court for custody of her two younger sisters, Aurutay and Mokoto, and won the court case. Now she was 21 and living in a two-story apartment off of her earnings as the 10th best pro hero, Glow. She hadn't been very good for very long, but graduating from UA high sure did help her get a job at a good-paying hero agency.

She ran a hand through her short, hot pink, hair and leaned against the counter, and poured herself a cup of water. She heard a small commotion from upstairs and then heard two little girls squeal.

"Phyki!" Little Aurutay and Mokoto shouted as they came running from upstairs and straight into Phyki's arms.

"Mo! Aru!" She matched their energy and leaned down to hug the two little girls.

Aurutay was 11 years old and manifested a quirk that was very unlike the quirk that Phyki had manifested. Phyki's quirk was called Temp. she was able to change the temperature of her skin at will, but it always took a while to either heat up or cool down. When her skin is really hot it begins to glow, and that is where she got her hero name. Aurutay's quirk on the other hand was something a little rougher.

Aurutay's quirk was something their parents called Fault. If an object made a scar on Aurutay's body then she would be able to manifest hard light versions of those objects. Mokoto's quirk on the other one was much more straightforward. Her Quirk was called chameleon and she could change the color of her skin whenever she wanted.

"Your back."

The sound of a voice broke Phyki out of her thought and she looked up to see Pro-Hero in training: Miro. He was doing an internship at the same agency that Phyki worked at and volunteered to watch the little girls for her.

"Miro, thank you show much for today. I was swamped." Phyki smiled as miro walked up to her.

"It's really not a problem Ms. Namari. It's the least a hero-in-training like me can do for the 10th best hero." He said and leaned down to ruffle the little girl's hair. "And these two little girls are so much fun to hang out with"

He said it with such a smile in his voice that Phyki couldn't help but smile at the young hero.

"Well thank you still miro. I'll see what I can do about your work-studies request," she said and reached out to shake his hand.

"I appreciate that Ms. Namari." he shook her hand and waved goodbye to the girls. "See you two little trouble makers next week"

"Bye Miro!" Mokoto and Aurutay shouted in unison.
Phyki smiled before turning to them. "It is time for you two to go to bed. Come Mokoto, come on Aurutay."

The two girls pouted as they followed Phyki upstairs and to their room. She tucked them both in to their separate beds in there shared room and left them in the room.

Phyki then decided to take some time to herself before she was gonna go to bed. After hanging up her hero costume, that was in her purse, she went and took a shower. She shook the water out of her hair and changed into some loose shorts and a tanktop.

The microwave beeped and she grabbed her dinner and ate while she finished her paperwork. Her mind drifted to an announcement that had been made while she was at work. The building next to the Nighteye Agency, the place where she worked, was soon going to be occupied by another agency that was moving in from out of country. How strange, she really wasn't aware of many agencies that existed outside of the country because she had yet to do research on them.

After finished her meal and her work she decided to go get some fresh air before she was going to bed. She walked onto her small patio balcony of her apartment and leaned on the railing. The sounds of the city always calmed Phyki after a hard day. She laid her head in her hand and closed her eyes, letting her mind calm and her stress dissipate.

She opened her eyes when she felt something shift. Time seemed to slow as she watched her banaster give out. She felt herself fall and didn't have enough time to fix her balance and she felt herself fall off the edge.
Phyki screamed as her feet slipped of the edge of her balcony and she began to pulmit towards the ground. Her hair whipped around her face as she spun in the air, trying to think of a way she could save herself using her quirk. But unfortunately her quirk wasn't anything that could help. She covered her eyes and screamed as the ground rushed towards her.

Something shifted in the air and phyki heard a familiar flap of wings before she landed in someones arms. She gasped and opened her eyes to be met with all to familiar smile that Phyki had tried all too hard to forget over the past couple years.

"Hey Glow Bird. Nice of you to drop in."
