Error had checked down the hallway before. It was usually something that was annoying to do though as the doors seemed to constantly shift their places and he would often need to wait for Ink in order for him to actually get anywhere in a timely enough manner. But, he wanted to do something that would stop whatever weird thing was going on in his skull right this second instead of waiting for maybe another couple of months for him to be able to silence the pesky bits of his mind, the parts that told him he should hate Ink.
So, he walked on and on and on. Sometimes doors would come and right when he was about to open the doors the handles would disappear and so he would continue walking to find another door. The sound of his slippers still being just soft enough to still let him think, but loud enough that he couldn't ignore it that much. Though it was still annoying how he kept thinking a bug was buzzing near him and just kept repeatedly finding out it was the lights and it at this point took all of his willpower not to just break every component of the lamps down until they were nothing but dust in the air.

Ink... Ink was in the best mental state he's been in for a while. Maybe burning down that mansion was the best thing for him. Get out those pesky hate filled urges that a full emotional palette would give him and... as he recollected he started to realize maybe the last coupl- no at least several months was maybe a bad... bad was putting it lightly, idea.He... he thinks he's going to try and make up for it.
He just needs to figure out what to do about "Nightmare's Gang" now. Man, his head hurts and... the near non-existent winds of the destroyed AU carrying the
Ink thinks to himself that he should start to get at least a slight handle on his hatred... maybe taking up the idea Error suggested of just destroying things sometimes that he didn't care for would be a good alternative.. Good alternative to this. Especially since he doesn't think he can even spot Nightmare limping - gooping???- away from this one. Error... how would he even begin to undo what he did to Error and how would he even go around explaining it! This... this is something that if one of his friends told him happened, he wouldn't really believe them. Because... how in ANY SEMBLANCE OF SANITY IN THE NAME OF TOBY FOX would one in any way be able to explain that they saw their "arch-enemy" in a relaxed state showing signs of being able to be redeemed and then... idiotically tossing it aside because they believed in a manic(?) -no he dare not call that mindset he was in manic, it was no mania he could touch upon- in a state of mind unbefitting of the guardian of all AUs had decided to mess with Error's own files, and do many... questionable things along the way. How was he going to explain this to Blue and Dream?
He supposed that now was not the time for self-pity. What's done is done. And he had done some stupid things. Like Markiplier once said, "When you are constantly trying to meet the expectations of someone else you're letting yourself down." So, he was not going to think of the expectations of others as he tried to go forward to fix this mess. First things first... unbreaking Error in the least harmful way possible.
People would probably panic about this if he wasn't smart about how he approached this. So he would have to make this work as planned and try even harder to gain Error's trust. And probably try and find some way to keep himself under control later.

Error had tore the lights out of the ceiling and was now smashing them into bits. The sounds of the buzzing insects he once heard were now gone. But now he couldn't help but hear the sounds of SOMETHING making noises that pounded into his nonexistent ears that made him want to rip it apart. He didn't know what it was, but whatever it was when he found the source of this positively horrible noise he would tear it to pieces much like he had those ceiling lights.
He had started to walk around the facility he had been inside. This investigation would be better than listening to that little intrusive voice in his head. He just knows this is the right thing to do. The annoying little voice that he had was annoying and initially he had listened to it far too much. Whirrrrrrr. Whirrrrrrrrrrrrr. WHIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! That voice was being overpowered by that noise, both a blessing and a curse. He just couldn't stand that noise, he wanted to just destroy whatever disgusting contraption was making that noise.
Error's feet clacked against the tiles. He walked in darkness because of the decision he made to smash open all those lights... not exactly his best moments. He's slightly disappointed in himself. Not too much, but still it's not right for him to be walking in the dark... outside of a particularly loud mansion that he had grown to love the noise of. He doesn't quite remember why he enjoys whatever that place was nor why he didn't find screams of terror concerning anymore.
He supposed the reason would be the voice is getting louder and sounding more like himself. Maybe he shouldn't try to ignore it? No, that doesn't sound right. He's just going to keep himself from it. He needs to just focus on all the grating senses that the noises have been leading to. As long as he focuses on just that he'd be OK. He would be mentally sane enough for everything to make sense.
It was the generator that was causing all of the noises! That made much more sense than he had expected. So... how was he going to destroy this thing? He needed to do it quickly, but also in a way that wouldn't electrocute him. He... he can be electrocuted right? He doesn't have a single clue, but he is sure that if he could be electrocuted he would probably die(?) from it.
He had no clue why he was coming up with questions like this nor why he had now found some of the once inconsequential noises now things to rend his nonexistent eardrums from their happy place to going feral like this was just another disgusting world. He didn't want to question any of the new things he thought, he just needed to focus on thinking of getting rid of the annoying noises and how he'd explain the whole... destroyed building thing to Ink.
Error thinks he could explain to Ink by just saying he broke a little? That would work right? Ink couldn't blame him for that! If anything he would blame it on those kidnappers that just took him randomly! That would work well! It definitely would! There's no doubt in his mind! No! Doubt!
