Bucky's POV
Everyone looked on in confusion. Lydia continued,
"But... its like its not me doing it. Like I can't control it... like someone is killing you through me." Everyone looked at each other, then back to Lydia. "I get Clint first. Then Nat, then Banner, Stark, Wanda, Sam, Rhodey, Steve, Bucky..." she gulps. "...Petey..."
"That only leaves me." Thor stepped up.
"I didn't see you... I don't know why." The room remains silent. "Thor, take me as far away from here as you can. Put me somewhere so I can't get to anyone." She begged.
"So, Asgard?" Thor wondered. Lydia nodded silently and stood up. She looked at Clint,
"Keep your bow close... Just in case." Clint gave a quick nod and with that, Lydia and Thor walked outside and zapped up. I looked at my feet with a feeling that I may have hurt her again.

Lydia's POV
I've been in a cell for 3 days. Thor wanted me to stay with him, but I couldn't risk it. The doors opened and I saw Thor enter with Pietro.
"I know you requested no visitors but he insisted." I was happy to see him, even though I did say no visitors. I didn't want Petey to come in, so we sat parallel to each other with the glass-like wall between us.
"Remember when we agreed to run around the world together? See the sights, try the food, enjoy the culture?" Petey wondered. I grinned,
"Yeah, you suggested that I hop on your back and you get us to Italy in a matter of seconds."
"We could have done it... we were going to... but then you disappeared. Those people took you away from me. You were the thing that kept me from being the bad guy... you changed me." Pietro frowned.

I placed my hand on the glass,
"Don't say that. Everything's okay now. I escaped, Petey. They didn't take my memories of you away." The project started on '68, but was officially put into effect in 1979. '79 was the year after I met Petey. We were so inseparable that even Wanda held a grudge against me for "taking her brother away." He put his hand on the glass where mine was,
"I thought maybe you went away without me. Then you came back and saved my life." He was referring to a new memory I got in result of my coma time-bend. Turns out Petey died during the events in Sokovia, but I brought him back with a small pill-sized pod Banner and I made. When he went down, I ran to him and stuck it in his ear so that it would put him in a coma-like state when we were able to get his heart and lung functioning. I spent 3 months on the project and the entire time I wanted to go back and save him, but that would have meant death from Clint and possibly the little boy he was protecting. Did we cheat death? Yes, but he wasn't supposed to die in the first place.
"I did it because I knew what losing you would have done to Wanda..." I explained with partial falsehood.
"...or maybe it would have fucked you up too." He suggested. Petey saw right through my excuse. I bowed my head, knowing that it was true. "You know what? As soon as you get out of here, we're going on a trip around the world. Just you, me, and a planet full of stuff. Like we planned way back when." It sounded like a hell of an idea, but spending that long alone with Pietro can get messy (in my experience, at least.)
"I don't know... I would love to, you know that, but the team might need us." I pushed.
"They have Wanda, Rhodes, and Sam now, Lydie. A month or two without us wouldn't be a big deal. Everyone deserves a break and after everything you went through, it's time for yours." Petey insisted, then stood up. "And until that day comes, I'm staying right here outside of this cell." I snicked at the thought,
"You're crazy, Pietro Maximoff."
"That's one of the things you love about me, Lydia Knox."
