*Splash*

Water splashed as he jumped into the water. His expression was normal. Mentioning his face. It's unique, small, and baby face. Wearing a genuine and bright smile.

He just stared at me.

I can see through those eyeglasses of him, a great cute eyes. Wearing a festive color tie-dyed t-shirt and black shorts.

I can sense the feeling of curiosity and happiness upon him.

I also observe the way he acts.

The way he swam, the way he laughed

and the way he got away....

All I can see now is his back.

And all I can feel is sadness.

"I wish I could see you again tomorrow" I whispered to myself.

While floating into the unknown, I was thinking of the way I could talk to him. Thinking words to use, forming many verses in my mind, and thinking of the possibilities. I don't know.

I just found myself being so confident that night that I could do it and it would go well tomorrow.

After the sleepless night, the sun waves as it rises. I was again looking and feeling the breeze of the cold sea, hearing as it splashed water and nearly hit my feet.

I promised unto the sun who rise that before he sets, my goal is to accomplish it successfully. And to be happy. And so I came back to my senses as I saw him walking towards me. He again stared at me and just passed beside me.

"Can I really do it?" I asked myself. I breathe heavily.

As I approach the island and chase my determination, I make sure I'm ready to go. As I step, all of the determination and confidence I was keeping upon myself lost again.

And as I go back, all I have left is fear, shy. Everything I was expecting suddenly faded.

Thinking and panicking, I go back to where our eyes first met. While on my way, I was wishing he would be there. And that would be the sign to go and take it as an advantage.

I closed my eyes as I approached the first corner of it. And as I open it right after several steps, I slowly open it.

I wasn't expecting the next thing that has happened. He was staring at me
again.

But this time, he was smiling widely. I can see his sweet smile and white teeth. He was studying my soul. I was overwhelmed. And then, the next moment I remember was when I avoided his gaze right after.

I let myself get soaked in the water. I let myself sink under it. As I rise, he is still there watching every action I do.

I can see the sunshine on his face. And I can sense the heat of it.

I just got up and sat on the side, near him. I just stared and admired everything about him. After some time, I saw him jumping onto the water again. He carefully walked, but I didn't expect where he was heading to. He was heading toward me. And as he approached me, he leaned his hand near my legs and carried his weight.

"Hey, you keep staring at me," he said in a deep voice.

"Woah, wow, the voice is s-so d-ddeep," I whispered to myself.

He moved his face closer to mine, leaving some inches apart.

"If you want me, take me. Don't just stare at me. I'm not a collection, nor a statue or painting," he whispered to me.

"I-uhh-s-sorry." "I-" I stammer as I speak to him. His presence really made me nervous and made me tremble.

He made his face even closer, and our lips were centimetres away now. He looked down and stared at my lips. He licked his, and the next thing I remember was that our lips united for a few seconds.

He got back to the water but was still staring at my eyes. He offered his hand to me.

"I'm Gian." "Nice meeting you," he said with a smile.

Woah, it looks like nothing happened, huh. I said in my mind.

"I can read you. I think there wouldn't be any improvement if I just let you stare at me. " He explained and removed his hand in front of me.

"S-sorry," I said,

"You say sorry a lot." Don't be. Next time, just approach, not stare. But I'm not allowing you to do that to another guy or to someone. Because from now on, you'll be mine. " I was speechless, and I could see him smirking as I painted a shocked expression on my face.

"Can you tell me your name again, love?" He asked.

"Ry. My name is Ry, "

I answered. I formed an o-shaped mouth and covered it as soon as I realized what I had done.

"Oh, so you are Ry, my love?" He smirked again.

As I was about to answer, he held my hand and pulled me closer to him. We both fell into the water and let out small laughs. We stared into each other's eyes again, and now I put my hands on his shoulders. His hand is resting on my waist. Our foreheads touched each other.

How fun to go back on how we met.

"I'm going to miss this," Gian said.

I raised my head and looked at his eyes. Tears slowly plunge out of my eyes.

"W-what do you mean?" I confusedly asked.

He simply looked at me and gave me a bitter smile, then he said, "I am not like the old Gian anymore," and his tears burst out.

"Remember how I saved you in this same pool?"

"They rushed you to the hospital and didn't notice I was still here."

"I was badly injured that time, and we had a fight." As he was speaking, I was slowly coming back to my senses.

"You slipped into the deep part of the pool. I couldn't bear to lose you, so I jumped into the water and tried to save you. And I succeeded. "

"G-gian"

"Set me free, Ry, it's been 3 years. Let yourself go too. Don't imprison yourself for the things that you didn't do, especially in the past. Go on and follow your dreams. Fulfill our dreams and wishes."

After he spoke, he faded.

"Gian, please don't go."

Now, all I can hear is an echo. Again, I'm all alone and everything that has happened is all product of my imagination.

I would never fall in love again until it's you again.
