"I know you're sad," Jisung starts, staring off into the pond with his hands in his pockets. "I can always see it when I'm with you. I always feel it when I'm in front of you. I don't know why you keep denying yourself happiness, but I hate that you do. If there was nothing between you two, you wouldn't have snapped at Chan. You say you're going on with your life, but where? Where are you going?"

I sit on the bench, rolling a pebble underneath my shoe. He's next to me, pointing out what I've been trying to hide. Chan and Seungmin left, but the two of us were free the rest of the day.

"You're lonely. You're sad. You're longing for something to make it go away. Changbin is that thing. So why are you pushing it away?"

"I don't know. I'm... scared, I guess. Scared I'll mess something up and we'll get too close to the point where if he leaves, it'll hurt a lot."

"What if he doesn't leave? What if he messes up too? Would you just leave after that?"

"Well, it depends on what it is, but I'd hope not."

"Okay then. Why are you deciding something on your own when it'll effect both of you in the end? Give it a whirl when you're ready. You've been acting odd lately, but I don't think it's weird. I think it's because you've been getting happier. And if he is doing that much to you where we notice, it's a good thing."

I breathe out, nodding. "I know. I am happier. I feel lighter than before. Actually, one night when we hung out, I was really depressed. Not even two minutes into the hang out, I had forgotten what was even troubling me."

"That's great, hyung," Jisung smiles, resting his head on my shoulder. "You two would look good together. I'm glad you found him."

"You make it seem like he was a stray."

"I'm sure he'll bark for you if you ask."

"He would, honestly," I chuckle. "How are things with Felix? Dating yet?"

"Ha, not yet. They're going good. We're grabbing dinner and staying at my place for a movie night. I'm excited."

I can feel his smile on my shoulder. His hands are folded on his lap, but his fingers are rubbing against his skin. I lay my head on his, closing my eyes.

"He's really sweet. Things are going to work out for you two. If you get married, I want to be the best man," I tease him lightly, already knowing that the two boys would have a good relationship.

"Nah, Chan already beat you to it."

"Who says you can't have two best men?"

"You're not wrong," he giggles at my statement, finally wrapping his arm around mine and holding it tightly. "I don't want to think about that right now. We're not even dating yet. Oh, but hyung, guess what he did? When we were walking in the park, we were holding hands. He stopped us and kissed me on the cheek. He's so fucking cute. I just want to squeeze him."

Laughing, I ruffle his hair with my free hand. "That's adorable. You guys are so cute."

"You should go on a real date with Changbin. Not a sudden coffee at work or random night outside. A real date at a café or restaurant. I'm sure that'll help with your issue, too."

"I guess so. He's working today, but I'll ask."

I bite my lip, my muscles burning while holding back a grin. "He said yes. We're going out at nine."

Jisung bounces in his seat, his smile bright as he gazes at me. "That's great! I'm so happy for you. We all really need to go on a group date once Chan and you figure yourselves out."

"Oh, yeah. I can't believe he actually got that girl to say yes to a date. I can believe it, but I can't. I don't know. I'm surprised he had enough confidence to ask her."

"Me too. He's usually super shy about that stuff. I'm glad we're all getting out of our comfort zones, though. It was like a domino effect. One by one, we all fell for someone."

"Fell? In love?"

"What? No! No, no. I mean, took an interest." His ears are bright red. He can't hide a simple emotion from me; it's hilarious.

"Whatever you say, Hannie."

"Shut up."

We lay back on the bench, holding one another. Sitting outside has always been nice. I don't think I've done it in awhile. Definitely not with one of my friends.

I sigh, closing my eyes. The sun was really bright today, raining it's warm rays on us. It's supposed to be the middle of fall. We literally had a wind storm the other day. I guess the world wanted to remind me how good it could be.

I accept your apology, world. Even though you can really be an asshole.

"Hyung?"

"Hm?"

"I love you."

"I love you, too, Hannie."

"You're my best friend."

I peek one eye at him, raising an eyebrow. "What about Chan and Seungmin?"

"Of course they're my best friends. I think you just understand me more. I knew you first, but we definitely have a closer bond too. I love Chan and Seung. All three of you are the best. You're just the best best."

"I appreciate that. I definitely think we have a closer bond than the other two. But you're right, I couldn't have asked for better friends. I love you guys a lot. I don't know where I'd be without you and I don't want to know either."
