As a reader I've seen the guy get the girl. The villian love her and only her. I've seen two star struck liver find a way to be with each other. I've read all of the troups from enemies to lovers to only one bed. Now I sit in my bed and wonder when it will be my turn. As a reader, I learned to love everyone else more than myself because that's what the strong lead does. But now I can't love myself, and when the time came for me to fall in love o set my expectations way too high. Guys don't want people who read, because reading makes you smart. Guys don't want that. As a reader, I want 5o leave my reality because its boring. Dragons aren't real and chivalry is dead. Growing up as a reader hurts the most. I get lost in other realities. Wishing they were real. As a reader, I've lived a thousand lives, but am not content in my own. Because as a reader, I set my expectations way too high.
