{ 1 } Game Day

Y/N POV
It was a Sunday morning, as it being a nice day/weater especially for it to be around the fall time.

Me and Bruce were heading out to his baseball game as he plays for one of the teams in our area (Denver, Colorado)

He loved baseball very much and valued it, just like our dad, I think that's why Bruce loves it to keep it alive in our family or wtv the reason is.

We had just left the house and were walking towards the park he was going to play at.

As the both of us were nearly 2 blocks away from the baseball field, we spot a black van. I swear, that van does not look like its been around in this area. Maybe i am just overthinking it?

As i was thinking about the van, so was bruce. "That looks new, no one I know in the neighborhood has a black van." He had said

"Strange i know, maybe we have new neighbors down a block or 2" I said to make the conversation to lighten the mood

"Yeah maybe" Bruce said awkwardly

The silence was very loud after we had both mentioned the van, so then again i opened my mouth and said

"Hey wanna race to the game? Loser has to pay for both our ice creams" I say to lighten the mood. Bruce smirks and says "You're gonna lose" and after that we ran off.

We finally had gotten to the park with no black van trouble in sight.
Phew.
Bruce then waves goodbye me and tells me
"I have to get to the team, wish me goodluck!!" and after that he had already tooken off.

Bruce is like my bestfriend,
but even better.
He is my brother.
He is right next to Finney, Finney is like my brother but he is my best friend.
Now let's snap back into reality.

I totally had forgetten Finney was here. Matter of fact he is playing as the opposing team. I walk over and see Gwen and a boy with a bandana around his head. I realized it was Robin Arellano, the school "fighter".

"Hey y/n!" Gwen says to me as she walks up and hugs me

"Hi Gwen" I say back hugging her. I look over at Robin who is basically staring me down. I gave him an awkward smile and said "Heyy Robin" while dragging the "y" in "hey". He smiles back and says "hey y/n, you here for finn ?"

I was totally staring at him and lowkey forgot to say something back for a minute but i soon sped up to reality and say "Oh uhm Im here for my brother actually"

He replies back with "ahhhh okayy"

We all stay in silence as the game is about to begin. Honestly, I'm hoping for Bruce. He hasn't gotten a win in awhile.

For the rest of the game all three of us were cheering on either Finn or Bruce. Within some games me and Robin would catch ourselves glancing or even staring at eachother. We would give eachother small smiles, he is cute tbh..

But we are both different and have different likings. I mean how could a girl like me and a guy like him with our back stories match?

We have a few classes together including Lunch, i think...

Ugh why am I even thinking about this, I need to focus onto the game.

I realized I had been STARING at Robin this entire time.

As I look away quickly I had realized Gwen had left, I saw her from a far talking to a girl I believe named Donna.

Isn't that Finns imaginary girlfriend?

I heard Robin speak up as I turned back to him. He had said

"You can stop looking at me y/n"

I soon look over to him seeing him with a smirk while continuing to watch the game.

"Tu tambien wey, can't keep your eyes off of me for shit" i say boldly looking back at the game without pulling my eyes away from it
