"Eula, can you promise something to me?" You timidly asked to the woman sitting next to you.
Eula hummed, as if saying 'continue' and you obliged. You took hold of her gloved hand, "Will you, always stay with me?" You asked not daring to look at her beautiful eyes.
She could only smile to herself.
"Of course, I promise that I will always be with you." She turned to look at the setting sun, her light blue hair swinging to a slow rhythm.
You let out the air that you didn't notice you were holding in, it was such a relief that she was going to stay with you.
Until the end, right?

Those words, Eula spoke those words quite a long time ago.
You believed her because you loved her.
She couldn't break your trust, right? Eula is an admirable fighter and person.

You decided to brush it off, trusting Eula once more.
She wasn't doing anything wrong.
Days passed, until you two barely spoke or met up.
You didn't want it to end like this, why would she spend more time with a comrade than with her partner?
It was obvious. But you didn't want to accept reality, not yet.

While the sunlight was still out, you saw them again.
Hugging close, dancing slow moves near the waves of the water.
They looked astounding, but not in the way you liked.
Until they kissed, it was a passionate little peck.
But enough proof for you to finally accept that Eula doesn't love you anymore.
A single pathetic tear grazed your cheek.
You didn't want to see Eula again, you can't see her in the face after seeing such heartbreaking moment.

You didn't control Eula, and Eula can't control who she wants to love either.
