Chapter 2

Everyone was gone, either at school or at school.

I decided to clean as I sung a song.

I moved around elegantly as I sung my song, cleaning and fixing the ceiling.

I heard someone enter the house but I just kept singing as I sat atop a ladder, fixing the ceiling to the best of my ability.

I stopped singing when I saw yuki and tohru looking at me.

I smiled "afternoon, how was school, anything exciting happen?" I asked, slowly getting off the ladder.

"You have a wonderful voice" yuki said with a smile. I only smiled back "thank you yuki" I said as I fixed my kimono.

"School was great!" Tohru said and i just nodded.

"Yuki, if you want to learn about what i told shigure and kyo, you'll have to learn from them, I do not want to speak of it again." I said, walking by them as I made my way to the kitchen, only to be stopped by my female friend.

"I'll do cooking today" she said and went into the kitchen.

I just smiled and went out front, sitting on the step as I waited for the other two.

This is typically done by a maid to make sure they returned safely, and yuki noticed.

Yuki sat next to me and smiled sadly.

I only looked onward, slightly humming the song I sung before. "What song is that?" Yuki asked, causing me to slightly flinch. If his voice wasnt so soft, I would have died from the inside.

"The song is called secret garden" I said and yuki smiled.

"Can you sing it for me?" He asked, making me slightly flustered, but I began none the less.

"He said~
'Oh Mary, contrary how does your garden grow?~'
'Come with me, and you'll be, the seventh maid in a row~'
My answer was laughter soft as I lowered my head...
You're too late, I'm afraid, this flower's already dead"

I sung, yuki listening intently to the words I sung out.

"Resetting as I was, with blossoms in full bloom~.
Never a chance to pause with magic to consume~.
A shadow walked behind me, offering his hand~
But couldnt understand..!" I sung loud a proud with my eyes closed so I wouldnt mess up.

"He said...
'Oh Mary, contrary how does your garden grow?~'
'Come with me, and you'll be, the seventh maid in a row~'
My answer, was laughter soft as I lowered my head...
You're too late, I'm afraid, this flower's already dead.~"

I sung, I felt eyes on me but I pushed the feeling, believing its yuki or tohru.

"Scattering petals down the road without an end~
Left on the battleground for one I called my friend~
Maybe he loved me as he took me by the hand~
And tried to understand..!" I sung, smiling.

"I said..
'Oh Mary, contrary, how does your garden grow~'
'Stay with me, I cant see anywhere that we could go~'
Their answer was laughter as darkness swallowed them up...
'One more time, I'll be fine, sometimes kindness is enough~'"

I took a deep breath to ready my lungs for the next part.

"'Oh Mary, contrary, how does your garden grow?~'
'Dont leave me! Please dont be the seventh maid in a row!~'
My answer, a whisper soft as he lowered his head....
'Set them free, I'm sorry, this flower's already dead.~'"

I sung out the rest and opened my eyes to see shigure with tears in his eyes.

He hugged me tightly, I had to balance myself so I wouldnt fall.

"Your so emotional~" I teased as I patted his head.

Yuki was beside me with a sad expression.

I hummed as I saw kyo had went inside.

"Come on, I bet theres some food on the table" I said as I got up, shigure stopped touching me.

I let my smile fall, my resting face being of somthing dead and cold.

I didnt sit at the table, instead went to my room, sitting on the bed before laying down and tucked in.

I slowly closed my eyes. My sleep schedule was always messed up.

I slowly fell asleep, the family talking about my pass.
