Welcome Back Seijūrō || Akashi x Reader

Rakuzan lost. Rakuzan actually lost against Seirin.

Something threw me off at the end of the game tho. Akashi seemed different...

I've heard stories about Akashi being a sweet and cool person before his personality switch at Teiko. But after almost losing to Muro-chin something switched inside him.

As we was leaving the stadium I asked Akashi "Are you okay? I know you never lost before."

As he turned to look at me I saw his eyes. They weren't two toned anymore. As my eyes widened in shock he started to reply.

"Well I am a bit pissed but I guess it was for the better (l/n)." He said. "As you can probably tell I'm a bit different. Hopefully I'm- nevermind that."

I was still at a loss for words. "Wha- what I don't understand Akashi." I said.

He frowned a bit when I called his name but quickly regained composure. "Come. Let's go to my place and I'll explain it the best I can to you. If you don't mind."

The old Akashi would've dragged me in the car. But this one asked first.. "Yea, sure. This is very confusing to me." I said.

Akashi Estate~

"Please come in (l/n)" Akashi said.

I watched him in confusion as I followed him down this long hallway. He led me towards this room, I'm guessing his office. (Bet you thought it was his bedroom ainnit🤭)

He sat at his desk and ushered me to sit across from him. He started to explain how he had two different personalities. And the other one (with the two toned eyes.) was born after he almost lost to Murasakibara. And how winning was the only thing important to him, until that Seirin game. He says at the end of the game he realized working by himself isn't going to get him to win, Blah blah. I looked at him in shock with my mouth dangling open.

"Okay (l/n) ask me any question you want." Akashi said.

"Well first off I want to know why you went back to calling me by my last name? You called me by my first name any other time." I asked

Akashi chuckled and replied, "Well you told me you didn't like when I called you by your first name. Oh yea and I don't have your permission."

"Oh." I just replied.

"You sound disappointed (l/n), what's wrong?" He asked smiling.

"I give you permission to say my given name." I whispered.

"Huh? I can't hear you." Akashi said as he smiled again.

"I said I give you permission to say my given name." I whispered a little louder.

"Speak up I can't-"

"I said I give you permission to say my given name!" I yelled.

"What's with the sudden change of heart (l/n)?" He asked.

"I guess you deserve it now. Your not an ass anymore." I replied

"LANGUAGE! (Y/n)" He yelled

"Damn okay sorry." I replied.

You thought to yourself 'this is where he would kiss me for "defying him"' you leaned in slightly expecting one but instead he rolled his eyes and walked towards the window.

Slightly embarrassed you sat up and walked towards the door. "Well walk me, out I don't know how to get out this damn maze of an house."

"Leaving so soon? And please stop swearing."

"Yea me and (f/n) haven't hung out as much ever since her and Hayama stated dating. This is the only time we can talk. And sorry it just slips out." I replied.

"I see, I'll have a driver take you and your friend home since it's getting late." He said walking to the door. "I'll also a body guard tag along with y'all."

"I can take care of my own self Akashi."

He walked to to the car door, and whispered something in my ear.

"Hope you wasn't expecting a kiss earlier. You told me to stop that too. Didn't you?"

"Of course not Akashi." I said knowing damn well I was lying. "And thank you for finally listening to me."

I got into the car as he waved me off.

'Why am I falling for him?'
