Avalon (Harley)'s POV

After about a week of helping Willow through her spells and feeling horrible all the time and starting training the younger kids at the gym, Willow finally has an appointment to figure out what's wrong with her and I'm driving her because Hadley is at work.

We get to the hospital and go in. The nurse gets her set up and does her vitals and everything.

"So, are you her mom or-?" the nurse asks

"No, she's my sister, she's a selective mute." she explains like I told her to, but she just simply said sister instead of "foster sister" which makes me smile a little and take her small hand in mine

"Okay, so, your vitals are pretty normal, but it is a good thing that you're in, some things are just a little off." He seems like he's trying to hold something in, but I just nod, he leaves and we just wait on the doctor.

Willow winces a couple times while waiting and I write for her to squeeze my hand when it hurts so she can let it out a bit.

The doctor comes in and starts tests and everything "So, I looked at her and with seeing how she is feeling to touches and everything else, "I want to take her in for an MRI, if you need to check that out with your mom, go ahead, I will send these tests in and be back in about 10 minutes or so" she explains to us and I nod again as he leaves and Willow looks at me scared

"It will be okay, the MRI, you just have to lay really still and they take a picture of your insides so they can see what's wrong with you" I write down for her

"If they're taking a picture of my insides, do I have to have my clothes off?" she asks genuinely

"No" I sign to her quickly, I've been teaching her a bit of sign over the week because shed been asking.

She nods at me and squeezes my hand and I do my best to help her through it.

I text Hadley and she says to go through with the MRI, so when the doctor comes back in, we tell her that we're doing it and we wheel her to the area and I help her though a couple nerves before she goes in.

She gets through the MRI like herself, making jokes and just being happy and it's nice to see.

She gets out and they take us back to the room and they'll be back in a while with the results.

"After this, can we get lunch? I'm hungry" she asks me while waiting

"Mhm" I tell her

"Yay!" she exclaimed "I'm bored, can we watch a show on your phone or something?"

I nod and bring up Disney Plus to put Boy Meets World which is her favorite show on. Then I go up and sit with her on the bed and we just watch it while we wait for the results to come in.

The doctor comes in and I turn off the show. "So, I have the results back and it isn't the greatest."

"What do you mean" Willow asks the doctor

The doctor brings up the pictures and I know exactly what It is when I see it, a tumor.

I zone out and can't really hear as she explains it to Willow, she doesn't deserve this, why is this happening to her?

The doctor stops explaining just as I get myself back to normal. "After we talk with your mom about treatment options, we will start her as soon as we can, but for right now, keep her comfortable and happy, this fight will be hard on her like it is everyone else. Regardless if catching it early on..."

"Ok" Willow says and looks down, the doctor gives her a sympathetic look then gets up to leave but before she leaves, she looks at me and my stomach and gives me a weird look then walks out.
