My phone rang and I answered setting the camera on the marble countertop
" hey babe" I heard London say shuffling around
" hey love" I said getting a towel and drying Mila off then putting her in her robe
I picked her up and placed her on my hip and took up the phone
" hey babygirl"
" hey daddy" she said grinning
" I miss you guys"
" we miss you too" I said setting Mila on her bed and picking out her clothes
" you gonna be back in time for Mila's birthday" I said lotioning her body and getting her dressed
" I'm not sure baby, I will try"
" Mmm ok" I said
" you mad"
" no I gotta go" I said hanging up
I sighed and shook my head disappointed
He missed her birthdays and he's gonna miss a next, how could he
Mila went to play with her dolls and I went back to planning Mila her party
MILA'S BIRTHDAY
" Happy birthday Mila" Katherine said kissing her cheek and putting her gift one the table
Soon inside was full and we were singing happy birthday

" DDDY" she squealed wiggling out of my hold and running to London who had a shit ton of gifts for her
I smiled and the crowd inside cheered
He walked over to me and hugged me my short ass just reaching his chest
I started to sniffle unexpectedly
" hey, don't cry I'm here now" he said rubbing my cheek and pecking my lips
We cut the cake and shared it up amongst the guest
We sat alone with Mila in a corner
" you happy baby" I said bouncing her on my leg
London kissed her cheek as she ate her cake
" so you know my birthday is coming up right" I said and he nodded
" well my friends wanted to take me on a 2 day trip to Spain " I continued
" which friends?" He asked curiosly
" Maddie and Melissa, they are here actually" I said calling them over
