"Are you sure that you can join and confidently say that you'll return home from Danganronpa?"
The employee asked. Kokichi and Shuichi nodded, a baby clutched in Kokichi's arms.
"Yes. Even if we don't, it's for the better anyway."
Kokichi explained, only sparing a glance down at his daughter for a moment.
"I agree. My uncle will do a better job raising her than I ever could have."
Shuichi looped an arm around Kokichi's shoulders, pulling him closer.
They would regret leaving their daughter, but with the money Team Danganronpa provides to the participants' families, their child could live a comfortable life, glaringly different from how she had to live now. Shuichi’s Uncle was the only living relative Shuichi had, he worked a minimum wage job and was working through law school, meaning there wasn't a lot of money to go around.
"Sign here."
Two contracts were slid across the table.
They signed without reading the fine print.

Having memories you weren't supposed to have was awful.
Kokichi remembered moonlit dates in a park with the same person that had just told him he would be alone forever.
He also remembered having a kid with said jackass. Even if said child was very unplanned.
At least she would grow up comfortably with Shuichi's uncle as a father instead of him and Shuichi.
Two mentally unstable teenagers or a fully grown man. Kokichi knew who he'd rather have for parents.
He sighed, dragging himself to the gym.
That stupid robot bear had some nerve calling a new motive the day after such a devastating trial.
Gonta was kind. Kokichi wished he'd died with him.
He regained his composure, opening the doors for a grand entrance but his voice died in his throat.
In the middle of the gym was a stroller.
Kokichi felt sick as he peered inside.
He was greeted with the sight of purple hair, and long eyelashes.
He stumbled back, shaking violently, one arm clutched around his torso and the other covering his mouth.
The others took note of this, with varying levels of concern, confusion and shock.
Monokuma laughed.
"Puhuhu!~ it seems someone has remembered that despair can reach anything. Or, anyone."
The robotic bear's sickening laughter only served to make Kokichi’s condition worse. He crumpled to his knees on the ground and passed out. Right as Monokuma's words registered to everyone in the room.
"Oh Ouma, what poor girl did you saddle with both you and a kid?"
Maki mused, stepping forward, regarding the scene in front of her with cool professionalism."Girl!? Hah! If anything he was the woman in that relationship, if ya catch my drift."
Monokuma cut in, and everyone in the room had to do a double take."The kid, in that stroller…"
"Oh my god…"
"Kokichi…."
"Ouma…"
"That's- horrifying…"
Kaito, Tsumugi, Shuichi, Himiko, and Kiibo remarked. Maki stood frozen in shock.
