Your POV

The next three days go by with us making the most of the time we have left, not a moment without each other. Tom's optimism makes it easier to not let my emotions get the better of me. Sometimes I just want to cry at the thought that I may even have to go months without being able to see him.

But now I have to leave.

Tom walks into the bedroom as I look at all my bags lying on the bed. "We have to get going soon." He says.

"I know." I say, looking down.

"You okay?" He comes over to me and wraps his arms around me.

I hug him back, "I just don't want to leave."

He kisses the top of my head, "It'll be fine, I promise."

I look up at him and kiss him softly, "I love you."

He smiles, "I love you too." We let go of each other, "We should get going, I'll take your stuff to the car."

"Thank you." I say, leaving the room. I make sure to say goodbye to Tessa as I leave the house, going out to the car.

I sit and wait for Tom, feeling overwhelmed by knowing that we have about an hour left with each other before we'll be thousands of miles apart. I need to try not to let that thought take over my mind though, because that isn't what Tom would want me to do.

Tom comes outside and puts my bags in the trunk before getting into the driver's seat. He takes my hand in his and kisses the back of it. "Are you ready?"

I sigh, "Yeah."

He smiles and I smile back at him, feeling my anxiety calm as I look into his kind eyes.

Tom starts to drive to the airport and I text Millie and Aliana on the way.

Aliana: it sucks that you have to leave Tom :( but mom said she would make cookies for you when you get home

Millie: omg I want some

Y/n: haha I'll save some for you Mills. Also Aliana, I'll stop at my place when I first get back, and then I'll go to mom and dad's

Aliana: ok, love you sis, see you soon

Y/n: love you too

Millie: hey, don't forget abt me too!

Y/n: We love you too

Aliana: haha yea love you too

"We're here." Tom says.

I put my phone away as Tom parks the car. We both get out and he gives me my bags from the trunk. He takes my hand as we walk inside. He seems to be in a bit of a hurry as we drop my bag off for baggage claim and get to security.

"Why are you in such a rush? Are you trying to get rid of me as quick as you can?" I joke as we stop in front of security.

"No, no, darling, I'm sorry. I just get really nervous about missing flights, I want to make sure you're on time."

I laugh, "It's okay, I get pretty nervous about it too."

He smiles, "Come here," He says and pulls me into a hug, "I can't go with you anymore."
