Can I write a story a day in May?
Well, after hearing that a friend was taking up the challenge of writing a short story every day during May (!), and after thinking she was insane for doing so :) I decided that perhaps a little madness from time to time is what we all need. Otherwise it's simply too easy to say 'I have writer's block' or 'I can't write this story anymore' or 'I just can't write today'.
Well, as someone who often hits creative roadblocks, I'm hoping this will be cathartic, inspirational, frustrating (yes, I welcome the frustration and hope to greet it head on) and ultimately I hope it will be fun.
May is only a day away! Time to get ready.
