Nick and Charlie stories

The Lake House Pt.3

-Charlie-

Ben is walking toward me. "You know I like you, Charlie," He says "Why don't you just break up with Nick, and get together with me for once"

My whole body is shaking "No I will never be with you" I say "And I love Nick, I would never break up with him"

Ben comes closer and he touches my hand. Then he starts kissing me aggressively "Stop it Ben" I yell sobbing. 

But he keeps kissing me going down to my neck. I try to push him away, but he's too strong. "I know you like it Charlie" "I know you like me"

I open my eyes, gasp and sit up from the bed. I breathe so fast, and I'm hyperventilating. It was all a dream, but it felt so real. I can't come back to the real world. I can only feel Ben's breath against my face. "Hey, Charlie" I can feel someone's arms around me. "Nick". I say with tears in my eyes. "Hey. Were you having a nightmare?" He asks. "Yeah," I say and a tear falls down my eye. "Hey, you're okay. I'm right here. Come here and lay with me." 

I lay in his arms, and he comforts me. Nick can always make me feel better. "What time is it?" I ask. "Uhm" Nick looks at the clock. "It's past midnight. Just try to sleep again." 

I hold on tight to him. "Never let me go Nick."

"I will never let you go, Char. Never" He says, and I fall asleep.

Timeskip

-Nick-

I wake up with Charlie in my arms. I look at the clock. It's morning. I considers if I should wake Charlie up, but he had a nightmare this night, so I let him sleep. I'm super hungry so I try to sneak Charlie out of my arms without waking him up. I then put on some joggers and a t-shirt. I walk out of the bedroom and down the stairs. I can hear voices coming from the living room. 

"Nick my boy. Good morning". Darcy says.

"Hi," I say back

Tao looks at me from the kitchen and asks "Where is your boyfriend"

"Oh. Uhm. He's asleep." 

"Thought so. He must be pretty exhausted after that night you two had going on up there. The whole house could hear you" Tao smirked.

My cheeks went red "TAO!" Elle yells

"He's not lying," Tara says from the sofa

"Who's not lying," Charlie says from the stairs

"Hey, Char," I say, running to him and giving him a hug

"So what are we doing today," he asks, still holding on to me

"There is something sort of a beach not far away from here. I was thinking that we could walk there." Elle saud

We all agreed. It turned out that the others had eaten breakfast. So I took Charlie's hand in mine and walked to the kitchen. "What do you want to eat," I asked Charlie, with a smile. 

"Oh. Uhm. I'm not hungry." He said with a smile I could see was fake. 

See, I know that Charlie's eating disorder is disappearing more and more every day. But when something is on his mind, it can be hard for him to eat. And today I could tell that something was on his mind.

"Charlie. Is this about the nightmare?" I asked him while laying my hand on his arm.

"No. I'm just not hungry."

"Charlie I can see when something is on your mind," I said calmly. "What was the nightmare about?"

He looked down and mumbled "Ben"
