EMILY MAYFIELD was a fierce redhead like her mother and younger sister: Max. She grew up in a quaint little town in California where the sun would beat down on her. As her skin soaked it up, each drop little by little, her freckles became more vibrant. In the midst of Cali's sweltering heat, she would teach her sister to skate, giggling each time one of them fell off their board. Of course, some tears were shead, it's inevitable! But who would guess that the root of some of these tiny tears lay at home? These tears, shared by both sisters, began to nourish their parents' relationship. As this relationship began to bloom- more like shrivelled - their mother decided that she was to move to a small, yet eerie town named Hawkins. Emily begged to stay with her father. She was an academic, she HAD to finish the school year before she could move. Otherwise, she would fail. She would then be reunited with her firey family in September. Or perhaps sooner?
STEVE HARRINGTON, otherwise known as "the hair" Harrington had spent his whole life in Hawkins, Indiana. He never dared to venture out of it. Why would he want to leave a place that was perfect for him? He was amongst the popular at Hawkins high, he had friends and best of all, he had a girlfriend. Isn't that all someone could ask for? Many pondered how long this attitude would keep up. His popularity could only support him for a short period of time. I suppose the summer before senior year will test Steve and his perception of the place he once called home.
"wait you're Hargrove's little sister?"
"No. Did your hair gel seep into your brain or something? I'm a Mayfield. End of discussion."
