Chapter 12: Confrontation

KIRSTIE'S POV

It's our final exam for this sem. I still have an hour to take my first subject. I reviewed well last night after Scott took me to my unit. But I can't concenrate well because I'm still trying to figure out what Scott told me.

*Flashback*

We were inside Scott's car when he asked me something.

"Kirstie?" Scott said, barely whispering.

"Yes?"

"W-what if..." Oh boy. I can tell that something is wrong.

"Come on. Whatever it is, you know you can tell me. What is it Scott?" I held his hands.

"What if Mitch likes you, too?"

WHAT? Why did he asked something like that? What is happening with Scott? Does he know?

"W-why did you— How can you ask me something like that?" I said. Still being surprised.

"I-I'm sorry Kirstie. It's just a void question so don't answer it. I'm sorry if I startled you." Scott said. His eyes were avoiding my stare.

"You know I have to go. I still have to review. Bye." And then I went out of his car. 

Before I could close the door Scott called me.

"Kirstie. I love you."

I just smiled and went to my unit.

*End of Flashback*

Oh boy. Does he know? Does he know that Mitch likes me? Did Mitch told him? Oh boy. I don't want them to have problems because of me. 

"Maldonado!" I was startled. It was Avi.

"What? You've been standing in front of your locker for like, 30 minutes. Come on! We don't want to be late to our first subject." Avi said.

Right. Avi is my classmate in Humanities. Our building is a bit far from our hallway so I think there's still time for a private talk to Avi.

"Avi?"

"Yes Kirstie?"

"Can I ask you something?"

"Of course. But if it's about Math, I'm sorry but I cannot help you." He said then he pouted. Cute!

"Avi!" And then I rolled my eyes over him.

"Have I told you how cute you are when you do that Kirstie? Hahahaha! But seriously, what is it Kirst?"
