Chapter 13: WTF

MITCH'S POV

"Hi!" I greeted Kirstie.

"H-hey." She said. Why is her face like that?

"A-are you feeling well now, Mitch?" She asked.

"Yes. And thanks to you. You? Are you feeling alright? You seemed frustrated, Kirstie."

"Of course I'm f-fine. This is nothing. My stomach hurts." She said.

"You're lying."

She was surprised with my statement.

"Come on Kirstie. I've known you eversince and I know if you're lying. Now, what is wrong?" I looked directly at her eyes.

"Meet me in my unit at 7pm." She said. Now I'm nervous. She seemed really serious.

"O-okay." I answered.

KIRSTIE'S POV

6:50pm. I am in my unit waiting for Mitch to arrive. I have decided to tell him how I feel. I know this is so wrong because I am committed to Scott. But I will also tell him everything. Soon.

*Ding dong*

It must be him. I opened the door.

"Good evening madamoiselle." Mitch said. Hahahaha! He's really cute with his accent like that.

"I brought foods. I thought that you might not have taken your dinner." 

"Thanks, Mitch. Just leave it there. I have to tell you something."

"Really? You know, you have to eat first, besides—-"

"I like you."

He was shocked with my statement. He froze. Moments later he joined me in my sofa and sat beside me.

"What? Kirstie?"

"I said I like you. I don't know. You make me happy. You make me smile. You make my heart beat so fast. You—-"

He cut me off and he....

Kissed me. 

He kissed my lips. I can feel the softness of his lips while it's crashing into mine. I kissed back. At first it was slow, and then I hugged him and kissed aggressively.

"W-wait." He said, unlocking his lips with mine.

"Why? What's wrong?" I asked.

"I'm so sorry Kirstie. I should not have done that. This is wrong."

"No, Mitch. Don't be sorry."

"What about Scott? He is your boyfriend! And I'm his bestfriend. What would you think he'd react if he found out about this? I love you Kirstin. But I chose to snob my feelings for you because I don't want to hurt Scott. He's important to me- you both are." Mitch said. I can feel that his voice were shivering.

"I know! And I hate myself for having two awesome people with me! Mitch, I honestly don't know what to do now." I can't help myself. I cried.

"Ssshh." Mitch patted my back and hugged me.

"We'll figure this thing out." He said. I hugged him back.
