Unable to stand anymore glares from the students, I excused myself from my 7th period class and just left home. The glares weren't something new to me but I was in a bad mood and for some reason Ryder didn't bother showing up to class, which only darkened my mood further. I don't know why but its like I had to see him.

Seeing as that did not happen, I took it out on poor Mrs. Conroy. She was shocked when I demanded she give me a pass to leave because I was not 'feeling' well. At least she had the common sense to hand it over, not that I would have fought or anything, but I would have walked out of the classroom with or without it.

Thankfully when I got home my parents were out so they did not notice I left school early. The bad part was that it left me alone to process my mix thoughts.

By the time I processed the whole day and how it all went down I came to one conclusion: I woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I'll admit I snapped a couple of times today but it wouldn't have happened if people weren't so rude and just plain nosey.

I have decided to put this day behind me and start over tomorrow with a clean slate.

Putting that aside, I am now hungry and am in the process of making some spaghetti.

I hear the front door open and slam shut.

"Annique!" screamed Lily.

Oh my gosh! I completely forgot about Lily and left her alone at school without a ride home.

"Annique where are you!"

I clear my throat. " I'm in the kitchen Lily!"

I think I can hear the anger in her footsteps, she's really mad.

The kitchen door opens and Lily walks in  with a very pissed off look on her face. She steps in front of me one foot tapping and with hands on her hips and says sarcastically, "Did you forget something?"

I started laughing uncontrollably.

"You bitch, you think this is funny don't you?"

"No haha, sorry. Truly it was an accident, I'm sorry. Forgive me? I made your favorite, spaghetti... technically its in the process but you know what I mean."

She looks behind me at the pot on the stove with noodles boiling and sighs. "Okay you're forgiven for leaving me stranded at school."

"Thanks." I say and turn back to the stove to stir the noodles.

" But you are not forgiven for the rest."

"The rest?"

"Yes as in more then one. Like seriously, what the hell you skank! Why haven't you answered any of my text messages?"

"I had my phone turned off." Good one.

"You know, I thought the same thing until I called you to confirm my suspicions and your phone kept ringing, meaning it wasn't turned off."

"Really? That's odd." Dang it, I should have turned off my cell phone.

"Right, don't try and bullshit me, tell me the truth." Lily arches her eyebrows, daring me to try and lie to her.

"Alright, my phone wasn't turned off, you happy?"

"As a matter of fact no, I'm not, now answer the question."

"Look Lily, I was having a bad day so I didn't want to talk to anyone. Then I started receiving your messages, however since I wasn't willing to talk to anyone, I simply ignored all you 87 texts."
