Chapter 9-The society inside the society

Lerie and Adam looked at me with shock all over their face. Then Lerie ran to me followed by Adam and they put their hands on my mouth and dragged me to the room. They forced me to sit on the couch and release their hands from my mouth.

"I guess we have to tell her" Lerie said while looking at Adam.

I just stared at them confusedly. I mean like what is going on. Aren't they going to kill me? They finally stopped staring at each other and start staring at me.

"This society isn't as clean and pure as it looks" Lerie said

What could that mean I mean seriously.

Then she continued on

"This society isn't the pure peace keepers that you thought.I think it is time for you to know that there are traitors in this society. Well last year we found out that someone inside has been telling information to the demons

. Every time we attack the demons would always know first. We were really confused on how that could happen. Then one day we are just walking down the hall and we overheard someone doing the demons ritual. We both were confused so we decided to sneak.

We heard a girl's voice and she is giving information to the demons. We both knew we couldn't just stand and do nothing while the demons kept on winning.

So, we make a plan. We gave each person an information. Then we keep watching until we heard someone giving the information. We will directly know who is the traitor and our plan works and we found out that Liz is the one giving the info" Lerie said

"Have you told the master about it?"I asked

"No we can't. We can't trust anyone" Adam answered

"You need to keep this a secret" Lerie said

"Yah, I promise"

"But now you know you are apart of us" Adam said

"Apart of what?"

"Well we made a society inside a society and it is called purity"Lerie said

"Well the name definitely explains. I am in"

They smiled at me and they left the room. I can't believe what did I get myself into. After some time of processing and thinking I decided to get out of the hallways to search for some fresh air.Then I heard someone speaking in a another language. Is it the ritual they said? I searched where the sound is from and I followed the sound. Wait the sound came from somewhere really far. How can I hear it from here? Well I guess I have sensitive ears too. I walk and walk and walk and I was in front of a big door. The library.

I sneak a bit and I saw Liz and master. Wait master? They are talking in a different language. Wait a sec. I know that language why is it so familiar to me. Wait it can't be. I always have this imagination about another language and it is the exact same language that they are talking with. Could it be my language is real? I keep hearing them. I tried to focus and think really hard and I start to understand all the words they are saying.

"What do you mean?" master asked

"Someone knew about this"Liz said

"Who?"the master asked

" I am trying to find out"Liz answered

" I didn't asked you to join me without any reason. Work harder. You must know who or else" Master said

" We might be in danger"

Then the door opened and I fell into the ground and I saw Liz there staring at me. I am caught. Then master came by Liz and saw me there. He hand me his hand and help me to stand up

"How long have you been there"Master asked

"I was just about to knock"

"Okay then"

Luckily I am a good liar. I guess it might help in this kind of time. Liz left and I enter the library

"Why do you come?" master asked

" I want to read some books" I answered

"Well it is not really like you" he said

I looked him very confusedly ,but I see that he is not giving anymore explanation. So, I went to the second floor of the library. I don't want to face master. I search for an interesting book and something caught my eyes. The book is colored metallic red and the title is the "power of the demons"

"You're interested in demons huh?" master asked

"As in fact I am"

" Well I suggest this book is better" he gave me a new book in exchange for my book. I don't want to look suspicious so I gave him my book and say thank you. He left with the book and I start reading. Well not really reading pretending. Something seems really off with the master. I got a feeling that that book is the answer to all of this.

That is also why he exchange my book ,but I am sure that he will hide that book. I peek at the first floor library and I saw master entering a secret door. Well at least I know where he kept it.
