Changkyun had just ended his closing shift at the café and looked around the establishment an extra time to be sure that he had remembered everything. Last time he forgot something Hongjoong made him stay an extra hour to fold origami flowers for decorations. Why origami you ask? Aesthetic Honjoong said... Changkyuns hands had been more than just sore the rest of the week after folding 100 freaking origami flowers. Luckily, everything seemed in order and he went and locked the doors.
Walking on the main streets alone after dark was never something he liked. People became weird and unhinged in the dark.
Some of them only looking for trouble.
Changkyun had had his fair share of catcalling or slurs thrown at him and he could not do anything but simply walk faster back to his apartment. Tonight though was one of the nights where he felt lonely and simply didn't want to go back to his lonesome and empty apartment. He usually liked being home and watching endless of Netflix series (Umbrella Academy was currently his go-to) and online shop for the latest trends. He liked material things...it's just a pain that he had to work for it. He liked working for Hongjoong, he was good and kind to him and he met so many different interesting people.
But work was work and work weren't always fun. It's stressful to work fulltime at a popular café, but he had to if he wanted bread on the table...and nice clothes.
But the afterhours could be lonely too. He needed company sometimes. It was human. The thing were just that he had a hard time doing so. He liked being around people and friends, but he had quite the hard time actually starting new friendships. He may look like he had all the self-esteem you could imagine with his happy go lucky attitude when meeting him, and his fancy clothes.
But the truth was, it was all a façade so people wouldn't think anything bad about him.
As he walked in the nice cool air, a neon sign caught his eye "Déjà vu" and funny enough, he could swear he had seen it before, but never walked in. He stood for a minute contemplating if he wanted a drink. When he couldn't find a reason not to, he choose to walk in.
The air was filled with smoke and the perfumery smell of freshly smoked tobacco filled the air, as well as 10 different colognes. He stopped to breath it all in. It had been a while since he went for a drink.
Walking towards the bar, looking at all the pretty people who sat around in the establishment, his eyes found another pair, which looked quite familiar. He stopped for a second, contemplating his next move. Then he just said screw it and walked up to the bar where a really pretty man with blond hair stood behind the counter.
"Well hello handsome, didn't think I would see you around here." Yeosang said while smirking teasingly at Changkyun. Which the other didn't really knew how to answer to, other than looking around rather awkwardly while scratching the back of his neck.
"I honestly didn't know you would be here. I simply needed a drink, that's all." Changkyun answered.
"Well then you simply got to look at my pretty face as a bonus. What kind of drink would you like? Mojito? Espresso martini...Sex on the beach?" Yeosang said looking almost too innocent for his mouth to say it all as flirtingly as he did while batting his eyelashes, with eyes sparkling do to the smoky champagne colour on his eyelids.
He looked pretty.
"Ehm...I like them all but I wanna try something new. Surprise me." Changkyun said trying to match just 10% of the flirtyness. Then he would at least not be alone tonight, plus Yeosang seemed genuinely interesting. The Surprise me made Yeosangs eyes twinkle.
"Your wish is my command." Yeosang said with a wink and a voice that could melt the iceberg that sank titanic.
And then he began his work.
Gin was flowing in together with lemon and limejuice, filling the air with aromaticness of both citrus and the smell of alcoholic pine (mainly because Gin is made with Juniper berries). Then sirup, heavy cream and soda water was added to the mix, and Yeosang just had to taste the cream which dripped from his lip, looking like something completely else. Changkyuns head was filed with the fumes around him, and Yeosangs cologne from earlier was intoxicating to smell. And he could see in Yeosangs eyes that he knew that very well. At last orange blossom water and an eggwhite was added to the whole thing, and then the shaking began. Yeosangs sleeves were rolled up, so Changkyun could see all his muscles worked while he was shaking the drink. Then Yeosang added ice and began shake the drink again, then finding a tall glass and pouring the yellow - white frothy liquid into the glass and garnishing it with a slice of white grapefruit.
It smelled heavenly.
"Here you go a "Ramos gin fizz" for the sweet young man. The Ramos gin fizz were invented in New Orleans in 1888. Invented at the bar the Imperial Cabinet Saloon. Lots of citrus, bitter gin and sweet froth. My personal favorite." The blonde said as he put the drink in front of Changkyun.
Changkyun looked at the drink. It definitely looked delicious, but he was a tiny bit worried when he had seen the large amount of Gin that gotten into the drink. But tonight was the night he would try to be more courageous, he just needed a small push. He took a sip, a big sip. And that sip didn't disappoint.
"Goddamnit I like it." Changkyun said with a dark voice and a smirk. Yeosang simply smiled and said.
"So you can be fun huh? Then let us get to know each other, shouldn't we?" Yeosang said as he leaned over the counter.

A/N: Hi guys! A bit of a random chapter today because I wanted Yeosang and Changkyun to have a story other than just them flirting in the café in one chapter haha. Plus...there was always a potential with these two.
AND I can practice for the two maincharacters hehe..Yeah I know they are a bit slow in the Development love wise...woops. But we're getting there! Don't worry.
