"Thank you, Wonder Wharf!"

Although it was only family and family friends, faint cheers were heard throughout Wonder Wharf, and it was well deserved.

Tina, Gene, and Louise left the stage as quickly as they went on, and were immediately bombarded with compliments from their parents.

"There's my shining star babies! Come here!" Linda exclaimed, and pulled all three of her children into a tight hug.

"You guys did good up there! There definitely wasn't a lot of people, and we were probably the only ones who watched, but you guys did great." Bob said, walking up to them after they finally escaped their moms grip.

"Thanks, dad." Gene said, a smile on his face. He was a bit relieved that it was over, but he actually enjoyed performing up there.

Even if his stomach didn't agree.

"Well, lets get home already! I'm ready to take all this makeup off, I can hear my pores screaming at me." Louise remarked, taking off her hat and letting her head breathe.

They all walked out of Wonder Wharf and back home, hearing Johnny Jazzhands playing faintly behind them.

[10 years later]

Gene played around with his fingers and hummed to himself, nervously stimming for the first day on tour.

Louise put down her mirror real quick and turned to look at Gene.

"Hey, you okay?"

Gene took a sigh and flopped backwards onto the chair he sat in, his long hair falling with him.

"I don't know, I can't tell if I'm nervous or excited. I mean, it is our first time on tour after all."

What first started out as some kind of underground band that just sang for fun, soon became popular one night, and Gene just didn't understand why.

Of course he was happy, and couldn't be more grateful that he and his sisters would finally go down in music history. But he just couldn't grapple the thought why.

Why did they like us?

Why are we popular all of a sudden?

Why can't we go out in public normally anymore?

These thoughts rushed through his mind constantly, and he wished he could just find the answer.

"Just picture everyone naked." Louise advised, but Gene just snickered.

"That's like, the oldest trick in the book." He said, lifting his head back up. Tina joined into the conversation.

"Maybe just have fun. That's what dad told us to do before we performed at Wonder Wharf all those years ago, right?" Tina suggested. Gene lingered on the thought, and nodded his head in agreement.

But his face still lingered with worry, causing Louise to take quick notice.

She got up out of her chair and walked up to her brother.

She placed her hands in his shoulders.

"Gene. Look at me."

Gene immediately looked at her, hoping she wouldn't slap him.

"Don't worry, I'm not gonna slap you."

Gene took a sigh of relief, his face becoming less tense.

"Do you hear all those people out there?" Louise asked, pointing towards the entrance to the stage.

Sure enough, the constant sound of millions of people talking and cheering was heard, and Gene nodded his head in agreement.

"Those are people who want to hear US. Those are people who blew their money on tickets to see US." Louise told him, putting her hand back on his shoulder.

Gene reluctantly nodded at everything she said.

"And what are you going to do?"

"Go up there and hope I don't throw up all over the front row Pitch Perfect style?"

Louise put a quick hand over her face, trying not to smudge her makeup. She put her hand back on his shoulder.

"No, your gonna go out there and give them the performance of a LIFETIME." Louise encouraged.

"I am?"

"Yes! You're gonna give them a performance so well, they're never gonna wanna go to any other concert again!" Louise said, punching his shoulder.

Gene stared at her for a while, and a smile slowly painted over his face.

"So, what do you say? Give them a performance so awesome that their eyes and ears bleed?" Louise said, putting a hand out for him.

Gene got up and put his hand on hers, Tina coming in and joining in as well.

"We're Belchers, from the womb to the tomb." Gene said, looking at his sisters.

"Give these people the performance of a lifetime on three!"

"One,

Two,

Three!"

"Give these people the performance of a lifetime!"

All three raised their hands in the air, and were immediately called up the stage.

And they were right.

It was the performance of a lifetime.
