Queen Felicity was nothing like what the papers made her out to be. Sure, she was glamorous and all that, but she also seemed to have a wild streak to her. Edward also wasn't the arrogant asshole the papers made him out to be either, he was actually really sweet and most of the girls that he'd supposedly broken up with and broke their hearts, had only dated him for money and they'd broken up with him.

"Annabeth!" My Governess snapped her fingers in front of my face, and I flinched.

"Princess Annabeth." The king muttered under his breath. My Governess made a sour face but hid it behind a cup of wine. I rolled my eyes and reached for a spoon to eat my potato soup.  The Queen cleared her throat, causing me to look at her. She slightly shook her head and grabbed a spoon very different than the one I was reaching for and daintily started eating her soup. I nodded slightly and copied her as the press took photos of all of us from the sidelines. I didn't like cameras, but my father, The King, insisted it must be done. So I sat through this awkward dinner like a good daughter. Thankfully, Queen Felicity seemed to be helping me not to embarrass myself. My new sister, however, was glaring at me every chance she got. She was older than me by two years. I looked up from my soup to see her gorgeous blue eyes staring daggers into my soul. I quickly looked back down and began fiddling with my napkin on my lap. My governess saw and elbowed me, causing my soup to splash onto the table. Photographers took photos quickly, and my face turned red, and I looked down in embarrassment. My sister did a chuckle into her napkin as Queen Felicity stood up and walked out of the room.
"That's enough." The king boomed out as he stood up. Maids scrambled to pull his chair out of the way. The photographers snapped more photos as the King walked out of the room. Edward cleared his throat and pulled the napkin out of his lap. "Well, that was the most awkward meal in my life." He said, standing up. "Shall we go?" He asked and held out his hand to me. I smiled and took his hand. Anything to get away from the stuffiness of this meal. My Governess cleared her throat. "Oh, don't worry." Edward replied to her. "I'll have her back in time for her curtsying lessons." He said with a smile as I choked back a laugh. My sisters blue eyes looked at Edward as she sipped her tea. "Have fun troublemaker." She said, waving a hand. Maids immediately pulled back her chair and helped her up. "Oh, we will." He replied, his eyes twinkling.
