Unsurprisingly as an idol there were certain responsibilities you were expected to do and do well. Getting up at ungodly hours to work your hardest at perfecting any little imperfections in your skills was naturally exhausting. And while it was nice to have the occasional short breaks that idols warranted, Jimin mostly spent his time sleeping and catching up on some well-needed rests.
Even then, these breaks don't last forever and they're back at work. Days like these though, made it all just a bit worth it. Currently, Jimin and his band members were having a small meet and greet in Seoul. They were meeting a lot of their fans and getting some gifts, and overall the day was going pretty well.
Jimin tapped impatiently as he waited for the next fan, as he sat on the farthest of the other members he had to wait a bit longer for the fans to come and greet him. There were also the occasional fans that grated on everyone's nerves by obviously having a favorite and not even having the self-respect to hide it.
The fan Jimin had just greeted was one of those and she only said hello and then promptly shoved their latest album to be signed before leaving. He sighed heavily because he still had some time left to talk to the fan and was now silently waiting by himself as he waited for the other one to finish talking to Namjoon.
The time for the interaction shortly ended and Jimin who had been staring off into space while lost in thought turned his attention back to the fan he was going to meet. He felt his rhythmic tapping stop immediately after.
Because he saw you. You with your gorgeous eyes, and unique appearance. You with your contagious smile and shy mannerisms. You who stood before him with an album in your hand and a cute bag that he could see held a stuffed bear. He felt all the air in his lungs finally return after hearing the first words you spoke to him.
"Hi..." You seem to curl into yourself, shy and unsure of what to do. That would make a lot of sense since he can barely remember hearing your soft voice when you spoke to his bandmate who was right next to him.
He felt a smile break out on his face and he leaned forward to talk to you more softly as well. "Hi." He whispered back, laughing with you as you seem to grow flustered.
"Sorry for— being so awkward." You say chuckling at yourself. "I just, it's so nice to meet you guys in person, it's way better than I could've ever possibly dream of." You fiddle with your fingers as much as you could with two objects in your hands.
Jimin felt a bit like teasing you so he did, smiling as he leaned back, crossing his arms. "You have dreams about u—me?" He almost said 'us' but wanted to fluster you more by singling himself out and seeing that it worked when you stood there blinking owlishly, had him laughing.
