I woke up to my phone vibrating I see that I got a text from Kevin but it wasn't from a number I recognized.
I just left him on read and now I wasn't able to go back to sleep so I jumped in the shower, redress my tattoos and cleaned my piercings.
I met with Tessa one of my good friends/employee and while we were talking she mentioned a party tonight and she wanted me to go but I was hesitant because this was one of those rich people party's and I don't really fit that scene very well but nonetheless I agreed.

As I was getting ready for the party I curled my wig and I decided on a black dress with the back out and sleeves since it was kinda chilly.

And as I put on the rest of my outfit and picked my heels and before I left I took pictures and was on my way out the door.

as I parked my car in front of the hall where the party was being held I called tess to let her know I was here and she came to get me.
As we walked in I seen the spiral staircase with a huge shandler hanging above it
as we split up I went to the bar to get a drink and as I made it there I was called by a voice I recognized as I turned around I was met with his green eyes and his freshly cut hair that still had length too it.
as he made his way over to me he began apologizing to me about everything that happened at the shop But I cut him off.
"it's okay let's start over" I said
"hi I'm Ador'e Solace" I said as I stuck my hand out.
"hi I'm Harley Hendrix" he said as he shook my hand with a smile
"would you like to dance" he asked
"sure" as I took his hand and walked to the dance floor.
As earned it by the weekend played loudly throughout the hall as we swayed to the music as he spun me around and wrapping his arms around my waist as I wrapped mine around his neck He began singing in my ear.
"cause girl you're worth it" he sung lowly in my ear causing me to shiver a little as wicked games began to play and he gave me a small smile as we just swayed to the music oblivious to anything around us.
And as we fell deeper into the moment he pulled back and we stared in each other's eyes as he slowly leaned into me as I did the same he wrapped his hand around my neck pulling me into him as I pulled him down running my hands into his hair.
Pulling away from him I just smiled and took a step back walking away in one of the hallways leaving him dumbfounded as I made it into the bathroom I began giggling like a little girl.
But the good moment was cut off gunshots and baby I'm from Harlem I know a gunshot when I hear them.
so I took off my heels and opened the door running down the hallway and I began looking for Harley or Tessa but before I could finished my thoughts I was grabbed.
A hand wrapped around my mouth and I was about to knock they ass out with these heels but before I could he whispered in my ear
"hey hey stop it's me" he let me go and I turned too look at him
"what the hell is going on right now and where the fuck is my friend?" I asked him as my eyes darted around the hallway
he just sighed and I felt my face heat up as I turned around and reached for the door but before I could open it he grabbed me as more shots rung off.
At this point I just wanted to go home because I was already hesitant about coming and now the mf place was getting shot up.
I was still in the closet with this white man and by the second I wanted to body slam his ass but before I could finish the thought he said "my brother Rowan has your friend even though she bit him" he laughed and so did I.
"the people here are here too rob the highest bidders of tonight's charity event" he said.
"I care about getting you out safely so I need you too be really quiet" he told me
"also do you know how to fight?"he asked
I just stared at him and grabbed his hand as he opened the door pulling me into the hallway as we slid into the bathroom he shut the door and turned off the lights and I got scared as hell as he wrapped his arms around me and picked me up moving me to the window opening it before he could get me out I grabbed his hand
"no no no I'm not finna die like this I rather get shot" I said tryna force my way back into the bathroom.
He grabbed my face and making me look at him
" you're gonna be okay if you want me to go first I will" he said I nodded my head and he put me on the ground.
He climbed out the window when he was all the way out I hopped through but due to my dress I hit the ground I heard a snicker as we made eye contact he began to giggle
"when I get up imma whoop yo ass" I cursed as he helped me up and pulled me to a all black audi and put me in the car.
" why didn't you save your dad?" I asked and I seen his body tense up but left me with no answer.
"Okey dokey" I whispered biting the inside of my cheek.
I grabbed his hand and held it in my lap and rested my head back on the seat.
Y'all I haven't touched this book since last year around this time 😭😭
