"alright class, it's morning recess, we're all dismissed. before that, bring your chairs and tables to their respective place. thank you and good bye."
afterwards, the students all went on their own ways.
"[name], do you wanna stop by later in my place and continue this?" aether pointed at his textbook,
"uh sure! finishing it ealier is better, i suppose."
he nodded and stood up, placing his table and chair back to their original positions.
hu tao and lumine were already waiting for [name] on the corridor, to go to the school canteen.
"[name], hurry up!"
"yeah, wait!"
then, they ate their recess.
after school, [name] walked to her neighborhood to stop by at aether's.
she knocked on the door and heard a faint 'wait'.
lumine opened the door.
"hello! looking for my brother?" she smirked.
"yes. for the project."
"yeah, project... come in!" she teased.
"he's upstairs."
[name] greeted their mother, who was busy in the kitchen.
"i'll go upstairs now."
"yes, yes!" their mother said.
[name] knocked on aether's door.
"come in!" she heard faintly.
she opened the door to see aether playing on his computer.
when aether saw her, he immediately stopped playing and turned his attetion to the girl.
"you've eaten yet?" he asked,
"no, but i'm not hungry either way." she shrugged,
"if you're sure..."
"ah, here's the textbook."
they worked on the project for a few hours.
they also lost tracked of time. they didn't realize it was late until rain started pouring.
'shit, i don't have an umbrella.'
"oh, it's already 18:38." aether stated,
"dinner here?" he asked.
"no thank you, i'll just go home."
"you don't have an umbrella though,"
"well, can i borrow yours?"
aether let out a light chuckle and nodded.
they both went downstairs.
as if it was timed, aether's mother has already prepared dinner.
"ah, right on time! [name], come join us."
"thank you, but it's fine. i'll be going now..." she bowed.
"with that heavy rain? you should at least let it calm down a bit."
the girl just smiled awkwardly,
"come, in the meantime, have dinner with us."
at this point, [name] couldn't disagree anymore.
after the dinner, [name] went home, with aether. he insisted to walk her home, to which she eventually agreed on.
now it's raining, and the two are under the same umbrella, close to each other.
