Chap 11

                       NEL'S POV

I felt someone shaking me
"Wake up!  You're gonna be late its 9:00! " mum shouted
I jerked up and my eyes searched for the clock, it was just 7:20

"Not funny mum, i almost got a heart attack! " i said angrily as she laughed

"I'm sorry, now go get a bath and get ready by the time I'll cook you some burgers " she said

"Burgers?  For breakfast? " i questioned

" Do you want something else instead? " she asked

"Bacon and eggs would do , i haven't eaten them since long " i said as she smiled and nodded

I got into the bathroom, took a shower and washed my hair.  I wrapped myself in a towel and changed into a simple white crop top which had a "dream catcher " on it and wore a denim ripped shorts . It wasn't too short so i wasn't breaking the college rules

I blow dried my hair and after it was dry i curled it a bit and then rushed  downstairs.  Mum was dressed up and she handed me the breakfast

"Did you hear anything from louis ? " she asked as i stuffed my mouth with the lovely crispy bacon

"No, he hasn't called m-" i was cut off by my phone ringing,  it was lou i quickly tapped the answer button

"Louis, where are you?  Its already 8:43  and we need atleast 15 mins to drive and reach to the cruise " i said gulping down some orange juice

"Nel, I'm stuck in a traffic ,an accident has taken place across the street everythings pretty packed up right now " he said seeming tensed

" Oh no, now we're surely going to be late " i said worrying

"I'll just go and check out , I'll  call you later, yeah? " he said

"Okay just call me once you're out of it " i replied

"Yeah " he answered and i hung up

I told mum and quickly texted adri about it, i told her we'd wait for him  and she agreed

It was 9:05 now and i started panicking.  What if they left without us?  What if we don't get there on time? All the what ifs popping up in my head. 
Mum tried to comfort me but it surely wasn't working
It was 9: 10 now and suddenly  we heard someone yelling my name outside .  THANK GOD, it was louis,  i rushed out with my bag (or suitcase)  as mum locked the door and lou helped me with putting my bag in the back deck.
Mum sat on the back seat as louis' mum was sitting there too and i sat on the front seat besides lou
I could hear lou's mum tell my mum about the "accident " thing but i didn't care much , all i wanted right now was to be on the damn cruise

"Go go!  Fast! " i yelled as lou nodded and sped up , i texted adri to wait out of her house and that we'd reach there shortly

We finally reached at adri's and lou quickly helped her with the luggage as her mum sat on the back seat and after a few secs adri rushed and sat on the back seat too and lou drove

He was NOT driving fast and that was irritating the crap out of me, in  addition we met a red light too and it was 9:15 already!  . We waited there for what seemed like hours and to be frank I WAS FREAKING LOSING IT OKAY.
I heard louis hum some song. Was this the time to act all cool and hum a damn song? This is not cool lou its annoying .He was really getting on my nerve right now!

"Now listen up , you better hit that pedal, heavy metal cuz i don't want lose a beautiful trip because of some damn traffic " i said angrily as soon as the red light turned green
