A New Journey: The Elemental Hashira

Attack of the South Mountain

I arrive at the South mountain and can already feel all of the bloodlust flowing from it. "It could be a trap" I think to myself. I shake off the weird feeling and continue up the mountain where I meet the Village leader: Adam. "I'm so glad you came!" He stops as he looks me up and down. "You ARE The Hashira from the demon slayer corps right?" I watch him judging me based off my age and start to get annoyed, but I managed to keep my feelings in check.

"I am indeed" I reply. "You don't really seem like the Hashira type" he says. "Listen, if it's because of my age, there is a hashira younger than me and he's quite capable, in fact he became a hashira within 2 months of training. I'm also very young but I am considered one of the strongest among the hashira" I explain. Adam looked shocked. "O-Oh I see. I'm sorry please make yourself comfortable as I make some tea" he says.

I gladly accept his offer and sit with him at a table. "So tell me, what's going on here? I'm aware that a demon has been spotted here, a very strong one in fact. So please, could you give me some sort of description of this demon?" I ask. He looks unsure of himself and then continues to speak. "W-Well the thing is, we've never really seen the demon. People just started to go missing and we got worried and called the demon slayer corps" He says anxiously.

I look at him in shock. "Very well, I'll take a look around the mountain tonight and try to see what's going on" I assure him. He thanks me and leads me to where I am staying for the night. I make an update of the mission and send it to Mr Kagaya. I look outside and it's pitch dark out. "I guess I should get going now" I think to myself. I grab my sword and put on my Hashira cape and walk out the door. I make it to the top of the mountain and look out and see tue beautiful city lights below.

"My what a view. This is truly amazing" I say. Suddenly, I feel a presence behind me so I instantly turn around and blocked the incoming sword. I get a good look at the person standing in front of me and standing there holding a sword was a demon with 6 eyes and skin as pale as the moon. I manage to jump backwards a little getting away from his sword. "So you're the demon terrorizing this mountain?" I ask him.

"What if I am? What is a measly hashira going to do to stop me?" He replies. I look into his eyes and see the marking "upper rank 1" on it. "So. You're upper rank 1 huh?" I ask. He nods as he just stands there. "I am Upper Rank 1: Kokushibo" he says. "Very well Kokushibo, I am the Flame Hashira: Tatsuya Saito" I reply. His eyes widen as he smiles. "Ah so you're the one who killed Doma Yes? You must be quite the swordsman" he says.

"Enough talking, let's get this over with so I can go home" I say with confidence. I pressed the button on my sword and the other blade falls and I catch it. I get into my fighting position. "Thunder Flame Breathing First form: Shocking Flame" Both of my blades Lit up in fire and Lightning as I dash towards Kokushibo. He swings his sword up and blocks both of my blade attacks as I jump back to safety.

"You even have a breathing form of your own. I'm impressed" Kokushibo says. "I'm not trying to impress you demon. I've been sent here to slay you and I'm going to follow through with it" I replied. Kokushibo looked Disappointed. "A swordsman with skill of your caliber shouldn't be wasted on human scum like you, I know! You should let me turn you into a demon. Then you'll peak even further into your power" Kokushibo Suggests.

I make an annoyed face. "Why the hell would I Turn into a demon when it was a demon that killed my family" I asked. Kokushibo sighed. "Very well, if you're not going to become a demon, then I have no choice but to kill you" Kokushibo explained. "Go ahead and try it" I say as I ready my blades again. "Moon Breathing Fourth Form: Catastrophe, Tenman Crescent Moon"

Kokushibo swung his sword and A bunch of little half moons fly out towards me. "Flame Breathing Fourth Form: Blooming Flame Undulation" I blocked the attack. "Now, Sun Breathing First form" Suddenly, hot flames start flowing into my mouth and lungs making my body temperature rise increasing my speed. I then Suddenly appear in front of him. "Hinokami Kagura!" I swing my swords downwards cutting him in half.

Kokushibo instantly Regenerates. "So you can use Sun breathing like my brother? You caught me off guard there. It won't happen again" kokushibo says as he rises his sword. Before he could do anything, I appear behind him. "Sun Breathing 9th Form: DRAGON SUN HALO!" my sword lights up in flames making the shape of a flaming dragon and it hits his neck. He looks surprised as he was caught off guard again.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!" I scream as my demon slayer mark appears. My sword keeps sliding more and more across Kokushibos neck. "DAMN YOU! DAMN YOU TO HELL!" Kokushibo screams. Suddenly my sword finally sliced through his neck making his head go flying into the sky. I exhale deeply but suddenly, Kokushibos head instantly grew back. "W-What the hell?" I looked at him shocked.

Kokushibo laughs. "There's only 1 way to kill me" Kokushibo says. "Oh yeah? And what's that?" I asked. "You have to destroy every cell in my body, I highly doubt that you have the skill to pull it off" Kokushibo explains. "That's all?" I say as I smile. I get into a battle stance with both blades in my hands. "Sun Breathing" I inhale holding my breath as both of my blades turn a Crimson Red and then my demon slayer mark glows a bright lava color.

"Sun breathing won't work on me you should know that" Kokushibo scoffs. "13th Form" Suddenly my whole body is surrounded in flames. Kokushibo looks shocked. "Wh-What the hell is this form? I DON'T RECOGNIZE IT!" Kokushibo screams. I suddenly dash towards Kokushibo and carry him into the sky. "STOP THIS AT ONCE! YOU'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO DEFEAT ME!" Kokushibo desperately Screams. "Supernova"

I suddenly took him crashing into the ground with a huge flaming explosion. When the smoke and sparks clear out, there is nothing left but the entire surface of the mountain scorched. I exhale as my demon slayer mark disappears and I put my sword back into its case. "I guess I should head back to the hashira mansion" I think to myself. After getting down from the mountain I am greeted by the villagers and greatly praised by them. After a big party they threw me, I finally headed back to the Hashira Mansion.
