I still remember that day...

Ruhi's POV

I was finally back it was a hectic day I hope all the kids have not irritated Reena, I walked towards the agun, it was hard to control my temper with that kind of people around, anyways I should check if Reena had her medicine, every time I have to remind her medicine or she will not take it, I have seen the will of life in her but I can't see it anymore in her, I vividly remember that day...

Another training session in another hospital, I hope the kids are fine and not getting on the vein of the caretaker, I was sitting in the doctor's office for newcomers, I need to practice my medicals time to time, it's was not a problem at first but after taking the orphanage under me it became hard to remain on the schedule, I'm attending a secession after a long time. I had a few patients, it's been three days here I'm in Bombay, the noise here the population here, Ha Bhagavan, I can't handle it nor the noise nor sitting here, I walked out of the office walking mindlessly in the corridor, suddenly my anklet on the left leg was pulled back giving pain around my ankle when I tried to find out what was the reason, my anklet broke leaving a red mark, I looked up to see a stretcher moving in a lightning speed I followed it to see a man covered in blood begging the doctors, I looked at the stretcher and saw a woman around late 20s her white dupatta covered with blood she was breathing heavily, I walked up to them "Kya hoa?" I asked the doctor "Dekho na ye admi yeha see jata hi nahi" he said I turned towards the man, desperation was writing on his face "Kya hoa? Bhai" I asked him he looked at me "Dekho Bhabhi ko goli lgi h aur ye elaj nahi kar Raha h," he said pointing at the doctor "Ase hi kisi ka bhi elaj nahi ho ata-" I ignored him and took the stretcher with me in an ICU, without anyone to help I started the operation, after an hour so she was stable but run a few tests before discharging her.

(What happened?)(What happened? bhai)(See she has been shot but they are refusing to treat her)(We don't treat anyone like that)

I looked for that man but was nowhere to be found I went to the general ward and walking inside I saw that man lying on the bed I asked the nurse about him, she told me he died, confusion filled me, how did they get in this condition, what about her now, I asked for any detail present about the patient but there was nothing to be found, what now, take her with you, that the only way for her to recover I very well know that here no one will take care of her, "Miss, Rohini I can't treat a patient without our permission" the Dean of hospital standing in front "Sir for me lives first" I say ignoring him walk towards the room I kept her in, "Who will pay for all that?" he asked I ignored him" I said checking on her condition "I need to run a few tests" I said "Miss Rohini, you are a trainee here don't get authoritative" he said "Sir I know I'm a trainee but for now I'm the one inchagre and just think what will happen if the word comes out that the top class hospital in Bombay only thinks about money" I wraned him "No one will believe you" he said "Don't worry sir they will" my confidence was eating him and I know that, I moved her out of the room to conduct the tests.

I did not sign the register I already made them fool, signing the register will only get the police involved and I have no information on her they will take her under their custody. It took her 2 weeks to come back to consciousness, she is still not completely okay but now in a better condition, when she woke up she was looking for someone her husband, about whom is talked a lot, when I say a lot it means a lot but she seemed sad but angry at the same time, it was not easy to handle her at first she will give death treats she tried to run away once but after some time she started listing to me which was good for her only, her health. She got along with the kids I guess that the kids only helo her with her mental condition, the kids were really scared of her, there was something about her, she carried an aura with her, and she helped me a lot when it came to the kids even my heath, I felt as I know her or I should know her as if she was related with me in some way and I don't feel like that with everyone.

Back to the present I should go and check on her I walked into the angun and saw that guy, I need to know his name, standing there with a bottle? is it? did she really? he shouldn't be drinking here what if the kids see him, I walked towards him "O hello" I said but no reply "O! Hello?" again no reply, he took the bottle near his lips but before it would touch his lips I grab his shoulder surprising and turning him around he lost his balance and poured the drink over me, disappointment flashed across his face, he checked if something was left in the bottle, he threw the bottle shattering it but no sound came, no sound...

Reena's POV

I heard the shattering of glass what is he up to know, I walk in angun to his Ruhi damp and Rocky drunkenly scolding her, "Kya kar rhi thi What were you trying to do tum?" he asked her she just looked confused, he looked cute like that, Ruhi must be feeling cold she is damp, wait waves of realization flow over me realize who Ruhi was so quiet, I walk up to her standing between them "Dekho sona ye dactorni puri Pagal h" he complained to me but I shushed him "Dekho daru waste kar di" he said anyays "Rocky..." I said "Bola sona," he said cutely "Chup rho," I said and he placed his finger on his lips "Ruhi," I said earning no reply "Ruhi..." I said slowly but still nothing "A jvab dena bhari h kya" Rocky said I looked at him he placed his finger back on his lips "Ruhi..." I said loudly but slowly his time it seemed that she heard me "Sona" he mumbled in my ear "Kya h?" I was frustrated"Ase kyu bat kar rhi h, ye bhari thodhi na h?" he asked me I ignored his question and took Ruhi inside and shut the door leaving him outside and placed a dress for her, she took the dress and went inside the bathroom, she handed me the hearing aid, I walked out the seeing Rocky waiting for an answer "Ye kya h?" he asked me "Hearing aid," I said trying to get the beer out of it "Aur ye khrab ho gya h" I said losing all hope to fix it "Tu wo abhi bhari h" he asked excitedly "Ha, mgar-" I said "Mgar?" he asked "Tu ek nya larha ho" I order, he saluted "Okay sona," he said and leaned in "Goodnight Sona...." he said and walked away slowly smiling
