The camera crew entered the room. One by one, each act was called up to do a monologue that would be shown in the live broadcast. Y/n and Sarah were one of the last acts to do theirs. They were called away for about 10 minutes. When they returned, the small screen in the waiting room was showing the 5th act on stage. They were only 7 acts away. Slowly, the acts disappeared one by one to do their performance. 6 acts away. 5.4.3.2. They were the next act.
Suddenly, over loudspeaker, a voice said
"Y/n and Sarah" please go to stage left. You're on next."
Both their hands started to shake and their hearts suddenly rapidly moving.
As they walked slowly backstage, they talked and joked a bit with Ant and Dec (my besties). Ant and Dec told them to stand on the star in the middle of the stage when they went on. Suddenly, Ant pressed his ear piece.
"Ok you're on in three... two... one... GO GO GO!"
Y/n breathed in before taking a large step on to the stage.
