"Yo Leclerc" I heard a voice shouting and to be honest my heart did skip a beat. Still, I turned around to see a group of guys heading my way and my eyes stopped on one of them walking little behind everyone else. Great.
"Yeah?" I asked unsure what was going on.
"You're Charles' sister?" the one in orange asked. I did know who they were, but I had managed to avoid them until now. I didn't really enjoy the attention being Charles' sister seemed to bring. To be honest I was little taken aback by the comments, especially when I didn't know these guys and before I could really say anything the one, I believed to be Carlos, Charles' teammate stepped forward.
"Hey, I'm sorry about my friends here" he said raising his brows. "I'm Carlos, your brother's teammate" he told me offering his hand and I took it. I could tell he tried to win my trust and it was working.
"Hi, Elizabeth" I nodded with a small smile. This one seemed nice and treated me like a human, believe me, it was something most of the guys or girls, who knew who I was, didn't do, and so there was a lot of work to do if you wanted to get to know me. I'm not saying that I trusted the guy in front of me, but for the start, this was pretty good.
The Spaniard smiled to me. "Oh this is George and –" But I cut him before he was able to introduce me to the smiling guy.
"Your Dan's teammate, aren't you?" I asked.
"Yeah, I'm Lando, nice to meet you" he smiled and shook my hand. Then I turned and said hi to George before taking a couple steps back.
"I don't even deserve a hi, princess?" I heard a little too familiar voice from the back of the guys, and I rolled my eyes. I could see the faces on the other three driver's changing as they looked at our little interaction. "That's a bit cold" Pierre pouted, and I could still see the scar on his lip and gulped.
"Yeah, maybe stop being such an asshole" I smiled sarcastically. "Anyways, it was nice meeting you, but I really need to go and find my brother now" I told the group of people in front of me pointing towards what I think was the Ferrari hospitality. I really needed an escape from this situation.
"I'll come with you, I need to get there anyways" Carlos smiled, and I smiled back nodding agreeing. I could see Pierre rolling his eyes behind the man and I gave him a look before we walked away from the group.
"So, you know Pierre?" Carlos asked little amused as we walked towards the doors leading into the facility.
"Yeah, came with the family" I sighed letting out a small laugh.
"I'm guessing you two don't get along?"
"You guessed right" I laughed. "We used to be good friends but things changed and now we don't really see eye to eye and the whole thing has blown up big time" I told the guy, no idea why, but I did.
Carlos shook his head letting out a little laugh. "How's that working for you? He is you brother's best friend and all that"
"I have my ways" I grinned.
"Okay, here we are" Carlos said opening one last door before I was greeted by my smiling brother.
"Hey Lizzie" he said before walking up to me and picking me up for a hug.
"Hey, Charlie" I smiled.
"I see you met my teammate" he pointed the guy behind me.
"Yep" I nodded before some guy yelled Carlos for something and he excused himself to the room next to us.
"He is off the limits" Charles looked at me sternly pointing a finger at me.
"Oh my god, that's the first thing you have to say to me?" I laughed. He should know better than anyone that there was no way I would touch an F1 -driver, that was the first rule in my rulebook: no drivers near to my love life ever again.
