I walked back into the hospital, Asher walking behind me, My brothers were arguing with the doctor, they all turned toward me "Mrs.Rodriguez is asking for you, Harper." The doctor said "Mrs.Vance." I said as I walked past him, I know she doesn't want my dad's name, I walked in her room, "Thank god, the doctor has news, I wanted you with me." She said, the door busted open "Sorry we couldn't stop them." Josie said "Yeah, There are five of them." Asher said "Josie you can stay the rest leave, Harper will come get you ." My mom said they didn't budge "Either you leave or Harper will make you leave." They all wasted no time getting out of the room, Josie held my hand, the doctor walked in "Mrs. Rod-" I cleared my throat "Mrs.Vance, I got some interesting results," he paused frowning at the paper "You're pregnant." He said I choked, my mom looked shocked "Mom!" I shrieked her and the doctor exchanged shocked looks, "Mrs.Rodriguez, I am gonna put in my two weeks notice," "Would you rather me fire you?" I asked "Yeah." He whispered "You're fired, get your things and don't come back!" I yelled he thanked me and ran out. I couldn't even look at my mom anymore.

Her grandfather got here just in-time to hear her firing the doctor and the doctor running out, he looked at the guys, Harper walked out Josie chasing after her, she looked pale and sick "What happened?" Her grandfather asked, Harper's head snapped up "Nothing." She whispered "Tell them." Josie said "Oh so you want me to tell them that my mother slept with the doctor and got pregnant, right, damn it slipped." She said sarcastically her grandfather almost choked on his water, her brothers mouths were on the ground , I had to stop myself from laughing. "I've got to go." She said her mother appeared in the doorway "Honey wait." she said desperation clear in her voice. "No, I am leaving I'll be back later." She walked out, I ran after her, I caught up to her, "Let's go to my house." I said wrapping my arms around her waist, She just nodded.
