Chapter sixteen

Josie:
When Harper told me she was pregnant I was so happy, I was jumping up and down, I felt somebody holding my hand, I slowly opened my eyes, to see Harper, I was surprised to see a baby bump, "How long have I been asleep?" I asked, her head jerked up "Five months, medical induced coma." She said smiling, all of her brothers walked through the door, I waited for Asher to walk through but he never did, Jacob noticed my confused expression "He isn't here." He said looking down, Harper got up and walked out, "She hasn't taken this well." Julian said, I sent him a shocked look, he never talks "Yeah, it's really hard for her." Said Jackson, the rest nodded, "I hate knowing I can't fix it." Jason said "We can get him back." Jacob said determination in his voice, "How can I help?" I asked "Keep Harper's mind off of it." Julian said, they all walked out, I got up, and my whole body ached, I slipped into sweatpants and a tank top, I walked to Harper's room, she was sitting in a rocking chair my the balcony "Hey!" I said she smiled and stood up and hugged me "Hey little niece or nephew," I said putting one hand on her stomach, she laughed "What?" I asked "Try both." She said, I frowned "Oh my god!" She put her finger over her mouth, the boys rushed in "What?!" "What's wrong?" Each of them asked "Nothing, but Josie knows the gender." She smirked "Why her? I asked first." Jason asked "I still think it's a boy." Jacob said Jackson and Jack nodded along with him "I am sorry to say, but it's a girl." Julian said "Yeah, and he's never wrong." Jason added, Harper laughed. I agreed they were in for a surprise.
Harper:
I am so glad Josie is back, I missed her so much, I hate being pregnant though, when I learned I was pregnant with twins, I freaked out, I told Josie about it, when she was still asleep, it just made me feel better talking to her, I wish I would've met my brothers sooner, I probably wouldn't be the best assassin in the world, or own the best drug cartel either, but I love the dangerous, or used too I am not sure, I will have two kids and I don't even know if my husband is alive of not. My thoughts were interrupted by a sharp pain in my stomach, I didn't even notice that my water broke, I picked up my phone and dialed Josie
Hey bestie miss me already
No I just went into labor and I need you to drive me to the hospital without letting my brothers know.

True to her words she came running into my room, "Here!" She threw a dress at me, I looked at her confused "So they don't know!" She said, she had to help me a little, she told the boys we were going to the store, she drove really fast.
