S1 Ep1: The vanishing of will byers (part 2)

Will and Dustin made a bet that whoever won the race would get Dustin's X-men 134 comic, Sabito didn't care much, he just wanted to stay next to will until they were safe, will began to race forwards with Sabito hot on his tail trying not to lose sight of the bowl cut boy.

They zoomed past Dustin's house and sabito saw a figure in the road, it was unhumanly tall and unhealthy skiny, the duo hair coloured male used his power to jolt will's bike to the side after swerving his own bike causing them both to fall

"w-what was that?" Will asked worried looking at the road, but all that came from Sabito where muffled sobs and yells as he stiffend his jaw trying to remove the pedal that had torn through the male's pale skin and buried itself within a part of his leg muscle, causing velvet blood to leak out of the muscle out of his wound, down his leg and onto the forest floor

Will saw the other male's struggle to remove the problem in hand and grabbed a peice of the bike and sabito was whimpering in pain trying not to yell or scream "I'm gonna rip it out on the count of three, ready" the injured male stiffend his jaw and much as he could as will counted "one... two... three!" He quickly tore the once silver pedal, which now painted red with sabito's blood, out of his muscle and the boy on the floor couldn't help but scream out like bloody murder and sob desperate to catch air.

The sound of the boy's cries and sobs broke will's heart

"We, we can't stop now, we ha-have to get back to your house." Sabito cried quietly as he tried to suck up the pain in his leg and move on, will rushed over to help him "let me help!" He whispered.

Will gently put Sabito's arm around his own neck then his hand sheepishly and shyly wrapped around the other male's waist a blush arising on both of their cheeks as they tried to rush to will's house

They were so close to the small house as the roars of the strange creature came closer, and closer, will threw open the door the house door with one hand and they ran through, after locking the door will gently helped his crush sit down on the floor as his dog ran over to the door barking, then over to sabito and ran around Infront of him as if to protect the young boy

Will ran through his house's hallways calling out for his family "mom? Jonathan? Mom!" He ran to the window to see the creature standing not to far away from his house, he quickly ran to the phone and dialed '911' it rang for a minute before it sounded like someone picked up the phone but nothing was said, only static.

While will was running sabito could hear the creature getting closer, he looked at the door in pure fear, something he never felt before this moment

Will's dog continued to bark and whine as it got closer, the door had begun to unlock itself and will rushed to grab ahold of the injured boy and ran he slammed open the door to his back garden and ran across the green grass over to his shed, pulling the door closed.

The injured male had sat down to rest his leg as he found bandages and wrapped his leg as tight as he could. All while will ran over to the hooks on the wall that had the gun perched on them, will grabbed it with shaking hands and led it down on the bench with ammunition as he loaded the gun with it, lifting it to aim at the door as he stood protectively infront of the red & white haired male, shaking.

Another growl could be heard from outside as the light bulb on the shed began to buzz loudly and glow brighter each second that had past, before suddenly switching off and there were no longer two boys in the shed, no one was there

It was empty and full of silence.
