You Belong With Me

I'd suggest looking over the previous parts to remember what happened before! (since I haven't updated in a year haha)

Piper stood on the porch of her house, waiting for Finn to pick her up. She was kind of contemplating walking to school so she can skip confronting him after the eventful party last night, but it was too hot out and she despised walking anyways. Finn pulled up infront of her house, but instead of the usual soft smile he gives her his gaze was set forwards, his jaw locked and tense. Well, whatever little hope she had that he wasn't mad was destroyed.

"Finn-"  She started, trying to explain herself

"Just get in the damn car Piper" He gripped the steering wheel, his shoulders tensing

She sighed and got inside, crossing her arms and leaning back in the chair. He started the car and was driving in complete silence, and it upset her more than him being mad outright. Atleast then she can explain herself.

"Are you gonna say anything?" She asked, after 10 minutes of silence

"Yeah I'll say something, what the actual hell was going through your head?"

Damn. Harsh.

"Well I wasn't the one being a bitch-"
"Piper."
"Okay fine, I lost control okay? She just got on my nerves. She said we were sleeping together for god's sake Finn!"

"And since you know that isn't true then why did it get you so worked up?" He looked at her, eyebrows raised

"I-I just- she just gets me so mad. She's so entitled"
"Pipes you have to learn to just ignore Claire. Yes sometimes she can be a lot and I know that, but I'm not choosing between my two favorite girls. You're my best friend and she's my girlfriend and you just-"
"Woah. Girlfriend? Didn't you break up with her?"
"Nope" Finn let out a small chuckle "You know how dramatic Claire is, all I said is she needs to lear n to get along with you or it could ruin our relationship and she took it the wrong way. I fixed it though"
Piper looked down, biting her lip. Why was she so disappointed?

"What's wrong?" Finn softly said, putting his hand on her shoulder

"nothing" She mumbled

"Pipes, is it about Claire?"

"Why are you still with her? She makes you miserable!" She looked up, her eyes meeting his  blue ones

"Listen, she is hard to deal with alot of times but that doesn't mean she makes me miserable. I love her Pipes. And isn't this what love is? Sacrifice to work with your partner?"

"I just don't think one person should be doing all the sacrificing and loving in a relationship."
"Piper.."
"forget it" She said, as they  neared the school gate. She grabbed her bag and slammed the door shut, walking away.

"Piper!" She heard the car door being shit behind her, and then someone holding her wrist and softly turning her around

"Just forget I said anything Finn"
"I'll break up with her in a second if it comes down to a choice. You know it has always been and always will be you over her. All I'm asking of you is if you can make it possible to not come down to that choice"
"You know I wouldn't do that Finn. But when you guys break up it won't be because of this. Don't come running to me when she breaks your heart" Piper scoffed, turning on her heel and walking away.

Was it much? Ofcourse. And she felt immensely guilty as soon as she said it, but her jealousy overtook her once again. It hurt her to see him with Claire and she's finally admitting it to herself.

Kind of a filler chapter, but hey I got motivation to write!

Also, how do we feel about the season 8 off season episodes? Piper and Finn were the cutest in them, love Finn's newfound maturity and how he was handling the whole situation so responsibly by trying so hard to make comfort Piper and just in general how he was dealing with the whole Tiara situation, begging TNS to keep his character this way (they managed to redeem his entire character in under 3 minutes). ALSO IZZY MY BABY SLAYED. Love how she just put tiara in her place, love that of her.
