HOPE BLINKED WHEN suddenly Liam was getting up and marching towards Scott, angry. Rightfully so. "What do you mean, no?!" He growled out.

"Scott," Hope cautioned, glancing at her brother as she wiped away any tear or mascara stains.

Scott frowned, looking Liam in the eyes, "Liam, look at her. She's too weak, it'll kill her. We don't even know what the mercury's doing to her," Scott explained, though his words weren't reaching Liam who still growled. "We don't even know if it is actually mercury. This can't be the only way to save her life."

Hope wrapped her arms around her stomach and frowned, carefully watching Liam. She glanced over at Theo who was crouched by Hayden, but was watching the three of them with peering eyes. She pursed her lips and turned back to Liam; remind her to talk to him about Theo soon. Who knows what Theo has planned next.

"It saved mine," Liam said, gesturing towards Hayden.

Hope slowly approached, "that was different Liam, and you know it. You weren't dying from something unknown, unlike Hayden. And she's already a Chimera, meaning that adding something else to the list isn't going to help, it could worsen her symptoms."

Liam shot her a look with so much fire, she was shocked. He growled and his eyes flashed yellow for a second, and she swallowed a bitter taste in her mouth. "I thought you were on my team," he said slowly and angrily. "I thought you wanted to save Hayden!"

"I do!" She exclaimed, eyes wide.

Liam stepped closer to her, "you promised." He stared between the siblings. "You both said you'd do everything you could."

"Which is why I'm not going to do something I think is going to kill her," Scott slowly said, wanting him to understand.

Hope noticed how Theo was watching her closely. And she's realizing that she's been on Scott's ass almost since the moment Theo arrived in town, and suddenly she's not? Yeah... that would look suspicious to even her. She allowed herself to feel anger — which wasn't hard seeing as she's angry at Theo and the situations he has put them all in — and turned to Scott with narrowing eyes. Time to act again. "It wouldn't hurt to try..." she trialed off, swallowing the lump in her throat. Scott sent her a betrayed look. "What?! Come on, Scott! You've driven everyone away!" She exclaimed, "Isaac doesn't speak to you anymore, Malia has run off to do god knows what, Lydia is god knows where, and Stiles just left! The pack is falling apart!" She threw her hands up and started to pace. "We could try something!"
