New Beginnings

Chapter 2

I took his hand, and he led me to the car finally.

"Ok, so where are you taking me? I thought you were driving me home, do you even know where I live?" I asked as he drove somewhere I didn't recognize.

"I'm taking us to Maddie's house so she can give you something to wear, and yes I do know where you live." He said as he kept driving and looking forward, never taking his eyes off the road.

"What? You know where I live? How the hell do you know where I live?"

"Hey calm down, I just meant I know where your brother lived and I'm just assuming you're living there right now with him gone?" I was once again in shock, how did this guy know my brother?

"So you know my brother? Wait, did you know he is missing? Do you know where he is?"

"You're asking a lot of questions and right now I don't think it is the right time for me to answer them so please calm down and just wait till we get to Maddie's house." He said back to me, finally taking his eyes off the road for a second to look at me. He gave me that same look from the woods, I still couldn't understand. This is so confusing. I have no clue as to what's happening. I'm just sitting here in this guy's car, apparently, he knows my brother...waith how did he even find me in the woods?

"How did you find me in the woods?" I asked him and he just ignored me. I noticed the car had finally stopped.

"Ok, look I promise I'll answer all of your questions but first let's get you in the house and in some actual clothes, how does that sound?" He sounded so concerned and there was also a hint of irritation.

"Fine, I guess." I turned and opened the car door and he did the same. He waited for me in front of the car and led me to the front door. He didn't even knock, he just walked in, I flowed him to what I'm assuming is the living room. This place was beautiful, and huge, but the architecture and design were just...breathtaking.

"Hey, finally what took you so long?" The ginger girl asked. She was the one that offered to drive me earlier.

"Hey, it's not my fault Maddieson, just help her put some clothes on so we can talk." He said to her and walked to the guy Jackson or Jack or no Jake I think was his name. They started talking and Maddison walked over to me.

"Sorry about him, he gets like that sometimes, come with me. Oh by the way I'm Maddison but call me Madds and this is Linsey." She said pointing to the girl that was now joining us.

"Hello," the blonde girl said, waving over to me.

"Ok so like do you know what's going on? How did you guys find me in the woods?" I asked them as we walked into a bedroom. They looked at each other and I could see Linsey shake her head at Madds telling her not to say anything.

"Sorry, but we aren't the ones that should tell you, besides he promised he would tell you later," Linsey said, looking at me as Madds disappeared. She came back with some clothes and handed them to me.

"Here you can go take a shower if you want the bathroom is true that door." She pointed and I followed.

His P.O.V

"So what exactly are you going to tell her mate?" Jake asked me as Maddison and Linsey took her to the bedroom to get her some clothes.

I need to tell her everything, we need her help and the only way she can help us is if she knows the truth. I really don't want to be the one to have to tell her but there's no other choice. We need her. Things have been getting really bad and I can't do this on my own anymore. Her brother has been gone for too long and I think it's time she finds out everything.

"Where is Samuel?" He is supposed to be here by now.

"I think he's in the kitchen actually. It wouldn't surprise me actually, when is he ever not in the damn kitchen." Jake walked over to the kitchen to go look for him. I just sat down to think of what the hell I'm going to tell her. I know that what I'm about to tell her isn't going to be easy to hear but she needs to know the truth, she needs to know everything. We need her, without her, I don't think there's any way we can deal with this. I take a deep breath rubbing my hands through my face. Then I heard footsteps coming closer. I looked up and they were back. I looked over at her. She looked uncomfortable and I can understand why she is in a room filled with complete strangers.

"Hey, are you a bit more comfortable?" I asked, trying to bring some comfort to her.

"Yea, but are you going to start answering all my questions now?" She said looking around. Jake and Samuel had come back from the kitchen by now so everyone was here and looking at her, actually, they were staring her down.

"If it's ok with you we can go outside, to get some fresh air and I promise I will tell you everything you need to know." She looks around at everyone and finally nods. I guess she really was uncomfortable around everyone. I start walking to the back door and she flowers me. I walked over to the edge and rested over the railing looking out to the forest, she stood back looking at me expectantly. I take a deep breath before I start taking.
