Leilah chuckled at his words but relaxed her body.
"You do know we live in Sartarus right? People don't help people here! I know we've formed a bit of a.....partnership." The last word struggling to come out. It's extremely dangerous to say someone is your partner. Partner means potential leverage, leverage means rescue and rescue means death. "I don't need your help."
Leilah began to walk away but the bar keep said something that grabbed her attention. He only said two word but it meant so much.
"New Devil."
Leilah sighed as she turned
Around and walked back to the barkeeper.
"You have my attention." Leilah hissed.
"That is the title that you receive from Malum if you win the competition." The barkeep says and gave him a look of disbelief.
"So it's true, Malum really is stepping down...." Leilah thought aloud.
"Yeah he is. And the winner will take his place."
"So how can you help me?" Leilah demanded.
"I can gather Intel for you. Despite the environment this still a bar and it still the place of gossip." The barkeeper replied.
"Fine. Here, you can use this to get ahold of me." Leilah says handing the barkeeper a large knife.
"How?"
"Stab it in the sign of your store."
"Oh ok."
"Is that all?"
"Yeah, here i'll open the door." The Barkeeper says as he let Leilah walk out and he followed me.
They walked to the main room only to find everyone huddled in a corner and looking terrified.
Leilah looked from the cowardly men to the bar area and saw a beautiful woman in long sparkling scarlet dress that clung to her curvy yet muscular body. She had long fiery red curls that blazed down her back. Lightly Tanned skin that was unblemished and looked smooth. Her lips were scarlet and when she smiled at me it revealed white fangs for teeth. Her eyes were entranceing, they were a light pink with a tiny bit of violet blended in. She looked about 18, and about 5'12.
"Hey Leilah." The woman giggled as she was now hugging Leilah tightly.
