'Lucky me'- Lucky the Rabbit x Doug

Taking care of Doug

{3rd POV}

Doug groaned as he felt tired and he also felt dizzy.. which wasn't a surprise to him after what happened, Doug tried opening his eyes, but they felt heavy.. given that he was still dizzy and tired. He assumed that he was being carried somewhere since he couldn't feel the ground but he did feel small paws, he also felt that all of his energy was gone. Doug could slightly make out Malak's figure, and he also heard faint voices.

But he was able to make out the words that were being said, "Are you serious?!" Malak shouted at Mama Bear, "I'm sorry Dear Malak, he tried to escape with the other mortals who took all of the ring pieces.. and I was unable to capture Damian.. but I was able to get Doug in time before he could escape with the other mortals. Please forgive me.." Mama Bear said softly, she felt guilty in letting them escape and failing to do her job. Malak groaned in annoyance, he had just took the ring pieces from Bierce.

And now the two other mortals somehow found them and got them back and they were unable to get the doctor.. but Malak was surprised that Doug didn't escape with them, "Arruggh..! Well, since you failed to do your job and watch over the ring pieces. I'll be taking the meat sack back." Malak said, he took Doug from Mama Bear, he walked away from the murderous bear and disappeared with Doug. They appeared in Joy Joy Land, the Joy Kill robot was wandering outside the unfinished castle of the Joy Joy Gang.

Lucky, Penny, and Hangry stepped outside of the castle and they went to greet Malak as soon as he made his presence known to the group. Lucky first approached the demon, and he was confused once he noticed Doug with Malak, "Hey Boss! Why do you have Doug?" He asked, "The two other mortals somehow got the ring pieces back from Mama Bear, and they both escaped and they are now back to Bierce." Malak replied to the group.

Malak handed Doug over to them, "Since you are one of my trustworthy monsters. I'm going have you watch over him and make sure he doesn't try to escape again. He's my puppet, and he'll be helping us take down Bierce and her detective mortal and capturing the other one and that means no killing Doug." Malak said, "Awww.. I was hungry for ribs! I haven't ate in forever boss!" Hangry whined, "Now now, you'll get the detective mortal's ribs later on." Malak replied, "And make sure that Doug doesn't escape." Malak said, and as for Doug, he was still felt tired and weak.

But he was still conscious enough to be aware of everything he was hearing, he demon lord turned to Doug, "You'll be staying here with for a long while, Mortal. So you better get use to it." Malak said then disappeared into dark mist, leaving Doug with the Joy Joy Gang. The yellow rabbit looked upon the tired man in his arms, Doug had passed out again as he couldn't hear his breathing. Lucky threw him over his shoulder and then turned, he proceeded to enter his and his gang's home.

Penny and Hangry followed behind their leader, "So what are we gonna do with him while we have him Lucky? Lord Malak says we can't kill him sadly.." Penny said, "What a bummer.. I wanted his ribs..!" Hangry whined again, "Boss said that you will get ya ribs Hangry. We just need to make sure that Doug doesn't run away from us. He's a slave to us monsters." Lucky said, "Get a rope or something. We tie him up so he doesn't try to run away." Lucky continued, not wanting Doug to escape.

Hangry however still thought that he could get away, "But what if he does try to escape?" Hangry asked, "We have clones! A whole army and we even have Joy Kill, so there would be no problem taking him back. He's powerless anyways, with no tablet to help himself.. and besides killing him off would be a waste of time anyways and he will be quite useful in taking down Bierce and the two other mortals." Lucky said then the Joy Joy Gang went inside.

They tied up Doug and they watched over him for the remaining time he was unconscious, and later on, when Doug regained his consciousness. He felt tired and weak still, he wondered if Mama Bear beat him down also because he did know that he was knocked out, maybe so because he did feel slight pain from the last encounter from her when she prevented him from escaping with Evans and Damian.. Doug groaned and tried opening his eyes, his vision a bit blurry.
